    “Great Resort”

    Manzanillo is a great experience right from the airport. It has a small airport that sees 2 flights a day and no hassles. 15 minutes from the time you land, get your bags, clear customs and on the bus. The resort is clean, staff are very friendly and the rooms are beautiful. It is a smaller resort and with the low amount of people, there is always room by to pool and at the beach. The beach is private so there are no vendors/merchants there to bother you at all. and the fishing is amazing if you like Tuna, Marlin and Sail Fish.

    “looking forward to another visit to Manzinillo and Barcelo !”

    We have been to the barcelo several times, and this will be our fourth. We are staying Jan 24 2018, and we cannot wait. David C , who has moved up in ranks, and was at the main lobby bar, always goes above and beyond to help us. He is like familla to us now ! Victor who was working as the matre d , was always very helpful too. The snorkeling right off the hotel , in the little protected bay, is amazing, no real need to go anywhere else for it ! The rooms are clean and cool for your mid day Siesta. The little fridge is always stocked. Anything you may need, add a 50 peso tip for cleaning staff, and they will give extra water, or snacks. We like to bring coloring books and stuff for the children of the cleaning staff, its a little added bonus for our Espanol familla. Food is always good. My one suggestion is that they deep fry the chicken wings, as last year , we were looking forward to eating them, but they were mushy. The night entertainment was great, and Id love to see karaoke later than 9 pm as us Canadians love karaoke. We look forward to our visit and are counting the days.

    “I will vacation elsewhere”

    All the staff where very nice, but management needs to take a customer service class. We had an incident with a broken table and instead of the managers asking if anyone was ok because the table was clearly not secured they argued with our party as to who was going to pay for it instead of making sure their guest where ok. That could of easily been a lawsuit. Once we agreed to pay we asked for the amount and they rudely stated we will just see it on our bill. I tried to get a hold of the manager and he was never available. When we check it out is when we found out we would be charged 6000.00 pesos and forced to pay them.

Regarding the incident that was presented with a table during the disco night, we would like to mention that these tables are placed as very heavy decorative elements that only move in case of being very necessary and the movement is carried out by the corresponding staff. Our staff first of all asked if everything was in order and subsequently the issues related to the table were reviewed. For no reason do we overlook the safety of our guests. We sincerely lament reading that your stay was not as pleasant as it should have been and we would be very pleased to welcome you again in the future ensuring you in advance of our utmost commitment to make your next Barceló holiday experience an unforgettable one for all the right reasons.     “If you are premium member, don’t waist you time here. ”

    I went with my Family and Had Great Time, my Kids really enjoy the pools and the sliding water tube, most of the rooms have a great view to the Ocean, It have many Great Swimming pools, the Time was bad, no only because weather was too hot, also because is low season (October), and only one of the Three speciality Restaurant was open every night. The Show and Drinks are Amazing, every body was very Kind and Helpful, the Snacks need more variety and better service. But don waist your money for a Premium service, they have no idea what that means. We never find help in the Premium are ( Check in and Out). Hotel is Beautiful!!

    “Relaxing and clean ”

    I give it a 3 star only because of a few inconveniences. 1. No wifi unless you pay 12$US. Really? I had to argue all the way to the top to get a half day free. According to my west jet package it was all inclusive. 2. Went to book a excursion and could not pay with visa or debit. Really? So carry lots of pesos. 3. The alcohol they served to the blue bands was different and awful then compared to the gold bands. Unless you pay more, you get the original. 4. Only 4 English speaking guest for a whole week, including me and my friend. So know your Spanish well. Some servers tried their best. 5. To walk the public beach , you have to let the security guard let you out but have to cross thigh high water and slippery rocks. Not fun !!!!! Daniel, Jose, and javier were the best servers. 5* for them. Entertainers were ok.! All in Spanish. So if you are into fun and participating, please understand your Spanish. I don’t speak Spanish but got by. Paloma at queis outside of hotel gives great massages and facials. It’s across the gates of hotel. Dont let the entrance deter you. A la Carte : Kyoto was the best. Buffet place had a descent variety. My room was 4220 with a good view.

Thank you for your insights regarding the service in English and although all of our team are able to communicate, at Barceló we strongly believe in continuous trainings for our employees therefore we will make sure to offer official languages classes to all those members in need of improvement in this aspect of their duties. Last but not least, it fills us with pride that you could enjoy the gastronomical efforts of our chefs as we strive to satisfy the many culinary wishes of our guests offering the most delicious international and local dishes.
