    “LEGENDARY Vacation 2019!!”

    To start off, this was the absolute best spring break getaway anyone could imagine, and that is because of Barcelo Aruba. It was the first trip to Aruba for my girlfriend and I, with this impression it will definitely not be the last. We booked a Royal Level Luxury Ocean view room, and had a personal check-in on the 9th floor with Nathaly. She was fantastic and her assistance for the duration of our stay made everything a breeze. All of the restaurants including the buffet served great meals, and the service was always exceptional, all servers were so friendly and eager to assist. I never had an empty glass!! A major shoutout to Robby, Augustin, and Ritzner at the pool bar!!! Those guys have serious work ethic and deserve all the credit in the world, they are hustling to make sure all clients are well taken care of. At the Royal Level beach bar, Santiago, Rafael, and Jermin were OUTSTANDING and without them I would not have had the fun that I did, they do everything to keep you smiling on the happy island itself, and at the end of the vacation I felt they were my friends and not just bartenders serving drinks. We came across no issues with pool chairs or beach chairs, there are plenty and if none are present you can easily ask any worker, they will bring some right over for you. I believe the Royal Level was worth it, we had consistent access to top shelf alcohol, the Royal Level restaurant, and a few other perks. Positivity breeds positivity and that’s what this vacation was all about, positive energy on the happy island! We cannot wait to be back at the Barcelo enjoying another vacation hopefully very soon, thank you!

    “Beautiful Aruba”

    Aruba is very relaxing, great water, soft sand, and a constant wind so it never feels too hot. We chose the Barcelo because it was an all inclusive resort that was family friendly. The rooms were very nice, very clean (and i am super picky). The cleaning staff was excellent. The front desk staff were a bit slow and seemed confused. The seafood restaurant was extremely slow, they "lost" our food order, the appetizer was not good but the main entree was decent. The Italian restaurant was disappointing after all of the excellent reviews I read (management acknowledged they need to fix this issue). The Hibachi restaurant was great and very entertaining. The mexican restaurant was our favorite - food was excellent and our waiter, Andres was fantastic. The food at the buffet was good and the staff there were very responsive. We did have an issue with the a/c in our room, it was dripping all night and was fixed twice but never corrected. Also, we had a dripping bathroom sink - same situation. The "saving" of beach and pool chairs is a little ridiculous - i never saw an open pool chair the entire 6 days we were there and apparently prime location beach chairs with shade are impossible to get unless you get up at 5am to hold them. Our kids enjoyed the pool table by the bar, however, there was not much more for kids to do (other than beach and pool). We went into town one night which was fun.

    “Great resort ”

    Overall, this is a great resort in Aruba with minimal flaws. My girlfriend and I booked the ocean front tub room (room 1625). If you happen to get this room, you’ll get a real gem. The view of the ocean was perfect (100% ocean view). I’ve never had a better view from any hotel I’ve stayed in. The room was clean, maintained by the cleaning crew, and stocked daily with water, beers, sodas, etc. Even a nice welcome gift arrived the first night. I did not notice anything outdated in the room and would give it a 10/10 overall. The food was great almost every meal. The breakfast buffet is one of the best, if you’re a breakfast person. There is variety for everyone, and the omelet station is fantastic. Lunch was also great, and the dinner buffet was usually great, although one night lacked options. Overall the buffet gets a 9/10. The restaurants I’d give a 9/10 also. The Italian and Mexican are by far the best, followed by the sushi restaurant and then the Aruban seafood. Wasn’t the biggest fan of the seafood restaurant. We tipped almost every meal, and it was recognized and appreciated by the staff. They’re all very friendly and work hard. Beach is amazing. We didn’t get a palapa once, but we were also OK with roasting on the beach and getting a tan. I have no tips to get a palapa other than to wait until 2pm when people leave the beach. There are more than enough beach chairs which you can move around the beach and find shade under the palms if you really want to. The pool you can find shade in the afternoon. Beach and pool 10/10. Bar and beach service. I found the beach service to be great. Rafael is a cool guy, has a fantastic relationship with everyone on the beach, and he’s quick and attentive. Throw him a few bucks here and there and you practically have your own beach service (he came to me multiple times per hour some days). Pool bar service was fine. Some days great, some days so-so. You’re on an island in paradise, who cares if you have to wait two minutes for a drink? Especially if you’re ordering from in the pool. Bar service 9/10. Overall this hotel was great. I didn’t do any of the night entertainment but instead ventured around downtown, explored casinos, and did some shopping. I will definitely come back to this hotel. The people that complain about the food are either extremely picky or expected $100 steaks.

    “Barcelo Aruba”

    Nice, smaller property with decent pool and beach. Trying to get a chair at the pool or a shaded area at the beach is tough; land sharks place towels down to save the spot HOURS before their arrival. Most staff is friendly. Close to restaurants and shops. Definitely near the party zone; music from local restaurant can be heard until 2-3am.

    “Aruba Great. Barcelo OK”

    First time to Aruba. Island and people are wonderful. Some hits and misses at Barcelo.... - staff are lovely and very friendly - grounds, washrooms, restaurants, pool, beach - very clean - one person in our party had a nut allergy and the staff were always careful and accommodating - breakfast and service at Royal Club - very good! - had one dinner at Royal Club - also very good; service was very good; atmosphere was lacking (maybe have some music playing?) - dinner at seafood restaurant was very good - buffet lunch and dinner – very poor food quality and taste; tried once for each and didn’t go back because of poor food quality (hamburgers at the beach restaurant not fully cooked on 2 occasions) - no place to get a snack while at pool or beach - had a 1 bedroom suite with a small ocean view (mostly of the garage and service area…not what we booked or expected) - housekeeping was great and room always cleaned by early afternoon - rooms definitely need a refresh (sofa was old and had stains), beds were comfortable, always had lots of hot water, but shower had mold on the tiles (just needed a scrub or replacing) - the beach hut situation is truly CRAZY; ended up paying for an umbrella from a guy not associated with Barcelo rather than get up at 5 am while on holiday ($40 US a day, which is crazy given how much we already spent) - saw lots of palm trees being planted, but what they need to do is add more huts AND come up with a reservation system (like other hotels along the same stretch of beach) - would go back to Aruba in a second - not so sure about Barcelo for the reasons mentioned above

    Slevový* kód nebo kód promo akce (také se uvádí jako „promokód“) je kombinací písmen anebo čísel umožňující slevu z běžné ceny.
