    “Great hotel, good location ”

    All the staff are super friendly, the rooms are comfortable and very clean. The hotel is a 15 minute stroll from the city center with it's countless shops, restaurants and bars but is far enough away not to be affected by noise unlike many Spanish hotels in city centers. A perfect hotel for a city break.

    “Mixed holiday & work visit ”

    The hotel is beautiful, lovely reception/bar area, nice breakfast room which I must say is ten times nicer than the one they used to use. The food is lovely and the Rooms themselves are clean, quite and comfy with TV, mini bar, desk, table and chairs and enough pillows that you should find one that suites you. Now to the reason I only gave it three, now I appreciate that I am English in another country and that I don't speak their language so some may say it is my fault and get over it but when u try to order food etc or to generally ask a questions in Spanish to the best of your capacity I feel it should be met with a pleasant response especially in a hotel where a lot of guests will not be spanish. The staff are not friendly or helpful (except for a couple of them) in anyway which sort of takes away from this 5 star experience your meant to be getting. So unfriendly staff 1/2 star the other 1/2 is the air conditioning or lack of, for anyone who gets hot in the night be warned it doesn't not get cool quick and it doesn't help that if you leave it on to maintain the temp the maid turns it of when she comes in so you have to start all over again cooling your room or just don't have the maid service. Now the last point is not awarded do to the rubbish WIFI, I understand that WIFI is a issue in Granada anyway but for a hotel that claims to be for business use you would feel the WIFI would be better than most, there is one good spot in the lobby!! Granada is beautiful with lots to see and if you don't mind unfriendly staff and no WIFI then this is a lovely hotel.

    “3 day holiday”

    We thought the Barcelo Granada Congress was a fabulous hotel. The quality was superb for a very reasonable price. The only little complaint is that we would have appreciated a kettle n the room. The hotel is n a very central position which made it easy for us to reach the "hop on hop off bus." The reception also advised us of the Alhambra tour which they arranged.

    “Lovely hotel, great location, but lacking the basics!”

    Barcello Granada is an impressive looking hotel in a great location. It is modern, clean, the rooms are a good size and the staff are courteous and helpful. However, I was disappointed that the hotel lacked a number of basic amenities that one would expect from a 5 star establishment: No in room tea or coffee making facilities. No complimentary water. No slippers. No dressing gowns. No tissue in the room. No iron. No international TV movie channels, just BBC News. On another note. I also think that the way the window in the room opens is potentially dangerous, it swings wide open with no protective barrier. Our room was on the 4th floor, I would seriously worry if I had a young child in the room. A hotel with great potential, but in my opinion a few finishing touches need to be added to improve the customer experience.

Nevertheless, as we still are in our first year of operation under the Barceló brand, we take good note of your suggestions for developing improvement plans in the near future. Unless an isolated, undetected technical problem in your particular room, all the windows do have a limit for them to open safely and no issue has been reported before in this sense.
