In addition, the fish spa (ichthyotherapy) is a unique option for those seeking a unique and rejuvenating beauty and foot care experience. Immerse yourself in this oasis of peace and tranquillity, where professionals will look after your wellbeing in an idyllic setting.

The U-Spa at Barceló Huatulco offers a wide range of services, including massages, facial and skin treatments, body wraps and reflexology, as well as a steam room and a sauna. Children under 18 can enjoy services that have been specially designed for young people, with unique treatments to combat specific problems such as acne. Ichthyotherapy is also available. Ichthyotherapy uses the garra rufa fish, also known as the doctor fish, native to the fresh waters of Turkey, to effectively exfoliate the skin through gentle, light vibrations. This therapy has many benefits, including rejuvenating the cells of the feet, improving oxygen, blood and energy circulation, stimulating acupuncture points, providing a subtle and relaxing experience, beautifying and protecting the skin, leaving it healthy and revitalised.

Treatments take place in private rooms with air conditioning or in comfortable palapas by the sea.
