    “Perfect in every way”

    We only went for 2 nights hopped over from Gran Canaria. Loved the location and the excellent customer service. Booked it on Barcelo web page which was cheaper. Just loved everything about it would go back again hopefully this year.

    “Fantastic stay”

    Great Hotel and Staff. We cannot fault this Hotel and the royal level service. This was our 6th visit and would always come here for a sun holiday. Returning guests are looked after very well. Another plus is the fact it is only 15mins from the airport.

    “Barcelo Castillo Royal Level”

    We stayed at the Barcelo Castillo Royal Level our studio was modern comfortable spacious and clean. The food was super and cooked to your own requirements, staff very friendly. We loved our stay there.

    “Not so Royal Level anymore!!!”

    We stayed here for a 3rd time in less than a year for 4 nights A/I in block 4 got the room we asked for 4202 overlooking the harbour. My other half likes this as balconies get evening sun.Firstly the room,the ceiling over the kitchen area had obviously suffered some damp issue badly plastered and looked tatty.Door lock rusty, damp patch behind the door.Bathroom,bath badly chipped,showerscreen didn't fit properly water all over the floor after a shower,raindance shower was hanging off the wall.Toilet seat was loose and didn't fit properly.The steps up to the room the tiles were broken the same tiles that were broken last August! La Perlita stops serving food at 8pm? not much good if you are A/I and fancy a change from El Ancla. La Goleta Ice Cream /Bar closes 6pm not much good again if you have kids who would like an ice-cream after 6pm it was open until a least 11pm last year.Oh almost forgot we were locked out of our room for a couple of hours as our cards would not work,the maintenance man's and the maids master card wouldn't work either.My other half loves it here but for me the rooms defo need updating,La Goleta needs to stay open later and La Perlita needs to serve food later before I return sad but true. I would have said something while we were there but wasn't allowed too.Service everywhere is still very good thats the only good thing I can say.

We were sadden by reading you did not find the Suite up to your standards as usual and please rest assure that we will discuss each and every single aspect you kindly shared with us. On the other hand we are delighted to see we have managed to provide your favourite Suite and hope you did enjoy its outstanding view! We understand the personal preference for some of our bars being open until later in the night; we arrange our bars & restaurants in order for our guests to always have an option throughout the day. It is indeed true that our opening and closing schedule varies throughout the year; our main goal is always trying to please the majority of our guests´ desires and we are sorry we could not quite meet yours in this sense, on this occasion. We are truly happy to know that we managed to exceed in terms of customer service as we believe that a genuine and friendly approach to all our guests is the key for a successful and smooth holiday.     “Fourth visit to this hotel”

    Cannot really fault this hotel. We visited as a party of eight, and were very happy with everything as before. For the first time this year, we found reserved towels on many loungers. The main attraction in previous years has been the fact that, at any time of the day, one could go to the pool and find spare loungers, so at times it was difficult to find seats. Some more umbrellas would be helpful, especially to older customers who cannot endure the sun for long periods.
