    “Stayed longer than I intended.”

    Great hotel. Probably the best in its price range in Panama City. The breakfast is great, the rooms are nice and large. The personnel is helpful and knowledgeable. Don't regret staying here. Will come back.

    “Problem stay”

    Our reservation had stated we wanted a no smoking room, we were allocate o room on the 9th floor and when we entered the room stank of tobacco, so we had to change to the 8th floor. This room was OK when we eventually saw the room number as the corridor has hardly any light, I notice this has been mentioned before onion reviews on this site and yet nothing seems to have been done, I understand the need to save electricity, but perhaps movement sensitive lighting would be more appropriate so the. Customers can see clearly. The first night we had dinner in the restaurant and asked for the bill to be charged to our room, they refused saying we had no credit. I have stayed in more luxurious hotels than this one and NEVER been refused credit before. When we came to use the bathroom the sink tap would not provide any cold water at all this makes trying to clean ones teeth using the shower water quite difficult. At 6.30 the following morning I reported this to the receptionist who say he would get it attended to immediately. When we returned from a tour at 3.30pm it had not been done so once more we had to ask reception to get it sorted. The maintenance man turned up at 4.30 and told us that he had not been informed of this problem until 3.30. It took him half and hour to solve the problem and clearly it would have been more convenient for us to had had it attended to whilst we were out. The following morning my wife went to the toilet on the ground floor and got locked in as the lock was broken and could only be opened from the outside, we have therefore decided to call this the Accidental hotel. I see in past reviews the management have acknowledged the complaints and promised to discuss them with the staff but this approach does not seem to have worked. On our last evening we had no hand towel in the bathroom and we wondered how the maid could have cleaned the room without noticing the water problem!

    “Decent Hotel Overall, common areas not so fancy, really dark”

    Looks more like a place to have fun than an Hotel. Lobby and common areas are extremely dark, like a place to be hiding from someone, as a matter of fact that was the impression I got when a enter. I even tried the sushi restaurant at the lobby called UMAI, the place was also dark and shady, food was nothing special but there was loud latin dance music, nothing related to sushi. Breakfast was ok, staff was also ok, nothing below or beyond the regular you would expect

    “Not worth it.”

    There are places to go eat ear by, but the friendliness and quality of the breakfast is not worth it. It has been the hotel I have enjoyed the least in all of my time traveling. I disliked the layout of the bathroom.

    “Stay away”

    Pictures do not reveal the truth. Staff not so friendly. Hotel so dark can’t see barely anything in the room feels like your in a club with no lighting. Bathrooms not clean and pipes smell like sewage. Came for a funeral, not the best experience. Staff is not friendly only one person showed kindness. After seeing the room we checked out of the hotel and went to the Hyatt. We received no refund and we didn’t even stay.
