    “Lovely, but noisy!”

    Lovely hotel, lovely facilities, wonderful food. A lot of noise late at night due to the show every evening. Kind service staff, unfriendly restaurant staff. Not recommendable for families with small children, due to the noise and the size of the hotel. SO many people! Much better for young people and adults.

    “3rd time in Canarian islands”

    Some good point and some bad point: POSITION: is very comfortable if you like to rent a car and visit the island. ROOMS: no complains, comfortable and big enough, maybe the building deserves some renew. RESTAURANT: definetely too small, food is good but long waiting every dinner and breakfast. Nice anyway the different theme of every evening. CLEANING: around the pool is dirty, are missing showers at the entrance of the swimming pools and many guests walk around whit shoes. POOLS: nice but impossible to be used, are freezing. It was a pity that just 1 in 3 pools was heated and it was the smallest one so always full of Kids. ENTERTAINMENT: during the day you can join different actives with entertainment team. We met animators always smiling guys. Thank for all entertainment team specially Ricky (mr.quiz), Alessia and Jack. RECEPTION: Very good and always ready to help any needs. BEACH: far and small. At the end was good, staff made a difference, not the best place we have been but not even the worst.

    “Excellent”

    Booked it as a winter treat, overall throughly enjoyed my stay, located within short drive of Playa Des La Americas and Mt Teide. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming, room was very comfortable and gave you the option to store and cook your own meals there. Only improvement would be to add water bottles to the all inclusive offer, we nipped out to the supermarket for some but it was cheap enough.

    “Reposted review.”

    Make yourself comfy, this could be a long one. We’d been reading mixed reviews over the previous 9 months before our trip the Allegro Isora, but glad we carried on with the booking. I’m going to give this hotel a 4 star review. All of the reviewers that only give it 3 or less from now on must have had a really bad experierence or high expectations. Our holiday was (8th-22nd of November) 1st week in Room E208, 2nd week in Room D409. 1st week, first few days spent getting to know the area and the hotel. Unfortunately I’d jarred my knee coming down the spiral staircase on the 3rd day, so the long walk to the room became painful. Room E208 in itself was a nice enough room (suite) but we realised that what we really liked was a sea/sunset view. There was a great view of the kids pool, there would have been an excellent view of the slide, but for the tree. Our neighbour seemed to have their phone on a 6.30am alarm. There was very little sun on the balcony, so with my painful knee, lack of sun and no view we opted to upgrade. Shower hard to use as I had to step over the bath. Bathroom had pathetic glass shelf. Reception were very helpfull in offering us other rooms, but in the end after 4 days we accepted Room D409 for an extra cost of 14 euros per night, so the 2nd week was in that room. Top floor overlooking the pool, a view of La Gomera and sunsets. Shower screen seemed small for such a big shower, resulting in the floor getting wet. But big useable shelf around sink. Very much better decorated than previous room DECOR Very Miami “Ice cream palour” colour scheme, I think the pastel colours will get dirty quickly, but who knows they may keep on top of it. POOLS Cold, very cold. We did complain a few days into the holiday that the pools were cold and they did turn the heating on (on the top pool) apparently 7 weeks earlier than they would do normally. Even still, I did not venture in much deeper than my knees. So sort of makes the pools being a feature rather redundant. Others complained about the temperature of the pools, just not to the management. Plenty of sunbeds, all new and comfortable FOOD Overall the food was OK, wide selection, resonable quality, plentiful quantity. Only used the microwave once and that was to boost up the heat of the soup, that someone had left the cover off. Breakfast, avoid the rush, go down after 9am, you are on holiday afterall. Labelling of the food was hit and miss, more missing than hitting. Fresh Pizzas were nice and I even asked for a Margarita one with Bolognese sauce on, which was made just for me (well I had to share it). Wide range of Salad, pasta, fried meat and fish every night. This is only based on the time that I was there but all the food in the restaurant was fine. Food in the pool bar however, yes there was a few flies, the burgers, chips etc etc were not exactly hot. Toasted Ham/Cheese sarnies were nice and made freshly for myself on a couple of occasions. Lunchtime in the restaurant was a lot more relaxed than the evening meals. We found it better to go down for the evening meal a lot later (7.30pm ish) than the rush, let the familes get in there first (6.30pm). STAFF The biggest asset this hotel has is its team of hard working staff. All lovely, I had no issues with any of them. I did not get all the names, but Janette on reception was super helpful. Paula in the restaurant seemed to work all day. Xiomara worked everywhere. The bar staff worked their socks off. ANIMATION TEAM Hard working bunch, there was a transistion between the old team and new team whilst we were there. The evening entertainment was a mixture of in house and outside entertainers. Some good, some mediocre, but all made acceptable after a couple of drinks. The team were sadly let down by the lack of investment in equipment, Petanque/Boules, Shame the playing area could not have been weeded and raked over. Darts, just one set of darts that the flights fell out of. OUTSIDE BAR We called it the Ice Cream van, it was actually a new trailer. Not much of a queue, shame about the smokers, but it was outside. Heaters turned up a couple of days before we left, did a great job in keeping 20 or so people warmer. Also noticed there was a rusty broken pipe about 12inches tall poking up out of the ground (old little bin stand maybe?) in a rather dangerous place, needed a cone over it or cutting down to the ground level. Some seats were comfortable. INSIDE BAR Uncomfortable seats, bad acoustics, noisy, bad sight lines of the stage for most. Decor will show its age very quickly. I know it’s old fashioned, but there was no quiet comfy area to sit down and have a chat. Ongoing work, throughout our stay there was work going on, to be fair most of it did not impact on us directly, the odd diversion, bit of dust, little bit of noise, but it has to be done at some point. TUI Rep, Did not see her for the first week or so, but arranged our own trips. You had to Email TUI to ask for a visit, but understand they intend to do a daily visit now TIPS Take insulated beakers for your drinks, saves on paper/plastic cups. Take some butter up to your room the night before you want toast, as the butter is so cold it won’t melt on your toast in the morning. Take your own Marmite if that’s your thing  I could go on, but I think you get the jist. Good solid 4 stars just not at 5 stars. Would consider going back, but not every time, maybe in the future (if pools heated ;) )

    “Family holiday”

    Very good entertainment for kids and kids disco also bit free time for the parents .Friendly helpfull staff .Was our second time in the hotel.The heated pool I loved it .In the Snak bar lot of choices
