    “Winter get-away for 6 adults”

    We paid for the Premium package, room was spacious, clean, ocean view, strong wi-fi, king bed, large bathroom. We rate the Japanese restaurant as excellent, Italian as great and Mexican as good, based on 2 meals at each over the week we spent there. The main buffet offered great variety for lunch and breakfast, the salads and fruit were fresh. All service staff was friendly and helpful at restaurants and bars. We spent 2 days at the lagoon beach, exceptional snorkeling. We spent 5 days at the pools, lots of variety. Specific mention goes to Daniel Hernandez, who served us daily at the pools. He was very attentive to our needs, spoke English well, was friendly, smiled lots and really added to our experience at this resort.

    “Excellent Staff”

    The hotel grounds are very tropical and the trees separate each pool. The pools are not heated but are each small enough that the sun was able to make them comfortable.The rooms are large and clean but in need of some maintenance.The overall food was average however the Japanese restaurant was excellent. The beach area is unique but if you want to go splashing in the waves this is not the resort for you. The service staff is what makes this resort. We would like to shout out to Arath for his enthusiastic approach to entertainment around the pool. The hostesses and waitresses in the restaurant were exceptional and remembered out names and made us feel very welcome especially Affra.

    “Would have been great if I hadn’t gotten sick.”

    The rooms here are beautiful & very large, the lobby and grounds are lovely, though the bar staff at the lobby bar was dismal. The beach is small but very well serviced, both by the men who were constantly adding chairs and sunshades as the resort began to fill for New Years and then removing them as local guests left on January 1st. As well as by the waiters, always quick with our drinks. The food was what we have come to expect from most of the resorts we have been to. Nothing special.... however, this is the only time in over a dozen trips to various resorts in Mexico that I have ever become violently ill from something I ate. I was unable to leave the room for 36 hours, the first 24 of those I spent vomiting over & over again. We spoke to several other guests who had also been sick before we left the resort, with all of us thinking we had encountered suspicious food at different restaurants. Many thought it was the Japanese restaurant, but I did not eat there. The snorkeling at the beach is great and they put great effort into the New Year’s Eve festivity’s ( even if much of the entertainment was pretty lame, in my opinion) the decorations were impressive and there was much variety at the buffet tables, too bad I was not feeling any interest in eating anything after being so sick.

    “Day pass”

    We went to the resort on a day pass from a cruise ship. The pools and small beach were very nice and drinks were included. Lovely place. I particularly enjoyed seeing the Harris hawk and talking to its handler. Evidently the hawk is used to scare away seagulls and other pesky birds. It works, as their was very few droppings anywhere. Dropped down one star since I thought the buffet was only average.

    “Muitas regras para um all inclusive... ”

    Hotel lindo, estrutura muito boa, vista maravilhosa... já o atendimento deixou à desejar, ainda mais se comparado aos padrões de atendimento dos mexicanos, sempre tão atenciosos e educados. Muitas regras para um all inclusive, para jantar nos restaurantes, precisa reservar com antecedência, e se pode reservar se ficar mais de 2 noites... nós ficamos, mas achei essa regra desnecessária... o buffet é bem comercial, as bebidas são intragáveis... de máquina, sem gosto, sem gás, o melhor para tomar é a água mesmo, e de garrafa... O restaurante mexicano, fica na beira do mar, tem uma vista maravilhosa! Vale a pena reservar, só pela vista! Room service mal treinado, pedimos leite para nosso filho e a primeira frase do atendimento foi: você sabe que é cobrado esse tipo de serviço? Já no kids club, o atendimento foi excepcional! A moça, Carolina, muito atenciosa conosco e com as crianças. Muito atenta e educada! Para os padrões mexicanos, infelizmente deixou a desejar...

    Hotel lindo, estrutura muito boa, vista maravilhosa... já o atendimento deixou à desejar, ainda mais se comparado aos padrões de atendimento dos mexicanos, sempre tão atenciosos e educados.
