The experience begins on August 11 with a themed tasting menu in the hotel restaurant, designed to explain, through different passages, the phases and evolution of the eclipse that will take place the next day. A gastronomic proposal designed to anticipate and understand this phenomenon from a sensory and gastronomic perspective.
When you return to the room, you will find some protective glasses for the eclipse And a explanatory booklet with information about the astronomical phenomenon and what you can observe during the next day.
On August 12, you will have access to a space with the best views on the terrace of Occidental Bilbao, carefully prepared to enjoy the eclipse with greater comfort and tranquility, away from crowds. During the observation, you can accompany the moment with a Glass of Cava and Two Pintxos, while contemplating the phenomenon from a privileged environment.
Guests can travel to Occidental Bilbao on your own (on foot or taxi)or choose one fare with taxi booked by the hotelfor the round trip. After the eclipse, those who have booked the transfer will return in the reserved vehicle; the rest can walk back or request a taxi from Occidental Bilbao.
