It is considered one of the best beaches in Spain, both for its length and its fine sand, and has beautiful views of the historic centre of Rota.

Punta Candor, the wildest beach

This is one of the most natural beaches in Rota since it is surrounded by pine woods, which means that this 1.5-kilometre sandy area maintains its wilderness.

Even so, Punta Candor can be reached by car (there is a small car park) and by bus from Rota. It has walkways adapted for bathers with mobility problems so that they can access the golden sandy beach, plus a sun lounger and parasol service.

The incredible vegetation makes this beach one of the most beautiful in the area, surrounded by a campsite and picnic area for those who want to spend a day or more with views of the Atlantic, but with all the facilities plus a restaurant.

Punta Candor, which has been awarded the Blue Flag, also has a section of nudist beach, between the main descent and Los Corrales.

This beach, also known as Los Corrales, is a sort of secret place that, even in the summer, is never full, and is 1 kilometre long and 35 metres wide.

This fine sandy area is a very beautiful spot due to the dunes and pine groves that surround it, making it a semi-natural beach. Since it is far from the city centre, it is more protected from the crowds, although it has all the facilities you may need: showers, sun loungers, parking area and beach bars.

Many pleasure boats access this beach since it is perfect for lovers of water sports such as surfing and kitesurfing.
