Discover the incredible Timanfaya National Park and the town of La Geria

We will start the route directionTimanfaya National Parkdoing the”Volcano Route”in which we see different types of craters combined by a vivid chromatism that reflects the origin of the eruption, the materials it emitted or even the intensity with which it exploded. We will check the footprint of these eruptions that occurred almost 300 years ago by carrying out somegeothermal demonstrations, in other words,We will check the heat that still emanates from the Earth in different waysYes, all of them very spectacular.

Within the “Timanfaya National Park”, we have the possibility of making acamel ride(Optional - not included in the price).

Once the route through the “Timanfaya National Park” is finished, we will head toLa Geria,a peculiar wine area where a variety that is very typical of Lanzarote abounds, the “Malvasía”, a landscape so unique that it is engraved in our memory.

The vines are planted in cones formed in the lapilli, called “picón” in the Canary Islands, and which are protected by small dry stone walls. Fruit trees, such as fig trees, are also planted in the same way. This form of cultivation allows plants to root more easily in fertile soil, and the top layer of picon reduces water loss through evaporation. A landscape made up of thousands of holes and crescent-shaped walls that additionally protect crops from the wind.

We make the memory more complete when we don't limit ourselves to just seeing, but also to tasting, tasting, tasting the rich wines that a land as extreme as that of Lanzarote has the honor of producing. Obviously we visited a winery and tasted their wine.

After these spectacular visits, we return to the road that takes us back to our hotel.
