Discover the charming city of Seville and look back at centuries of Spanish history. Begin the visit in `Plaza del Triunfo´, where the Cathedral and the Tower of La Giralda meet, with the Alcázar Real, two buildings declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. From here, we will go to the Alcázar of Seville, one of the most representative monuments of the city, the country, and the whole Mediterranean culture.
Learn about the historical evolution of the city and the importance of the Cathedral of Seville, which is the third-largest cathedral from the Gothic period, and the third-largest church in the world. This cathedral houses the largest and richest altarpiece in the world. To the left of the Royal Chapel, is the entrance to the majestic Moorish minaret of `La Giralda´, which now serves as the cathedral’s bell tower. From above, you will be able to observe the wonderful views of the city of Seville.
Afterward, we will go to the Alcázar, as a religious, historical, and cultural place. The walls of the complex and its gardens house the history of the last millennium, beginning with the Arabian period, the late Middle Ages, the Mudéjar period and passing through the Renaissance, the Baroque and the 19th century.
