Parada en: Secrets of Jerez Itinerary
We'll start in Alameda Vieja, a meeting point for the locals and entry to the city center, there our official guide will introduce himself and tell you a bit of an introduction about the city. Then, you'll walk to Tornería and Plaza Plateros, where you'll learn about the culture and passion in Jerez de la Frontera about Easter and how we celebrate this event. Next, you'll learn about Plaza de la Asunción and El Arroyo, where you'll be able to admire unique buildings such as casas-palacio, a style of burgueois mansion typicall of Cadiz and intimatelly linked with the business overseas the Spanish Empire had. Next, you'll find out about the magnificent Cathedral and the unique Alcázar de Jerez, a medieval fortress built in Al-Andalus times and the jewel of Jerez.
There, our guide will tell you everything about the christian and arab medieval past the city had, explaining the interior of the Alcazar along the way, enjoying the gardens, mosque and even towers.
You'll finish in Plaza del Arenal, the main square of Jerez and epicenter of the city, where you'll learn about the ancient wall wich protected the city and you'll get some recommendations from our guide!
