    “Friends&Family Vacations”

    This is our 6th visit to this hotel. First three we went as a couple retreat but later we went back as a family (2 kids). This hotel has everything you may be looking for. We really like the hotel layout, how the main restaurants, casino, club, lobby and pool are all around the same area. Family rooms are perfect, it has two rooms in the same apartment with a safe, coffee maker, microwave and small refrigerator. Kids enjoy their pools (all of them). What we enjoy the most is the great service, especially from the Carey Bar (not far from the main lobby). As I mentioned this is our 6th visit, and as always it's just wonderfull to be served by the best, Lourdes Mercedes. My husband and I always visit the Carey Bar and she's always very attentive and cheerful with clients. I'm definitely looking forward to visit her again next year!!! We were also served by Yorby De Leon and Ambiorix Valerio some of the nights, they keep us entertain and were very knowledgeable in a variety of drinks. Don't hesitate to visit them!! I have visit this hotel so many times that I can tell they have maintain it very well. The only reason why I didnt give them a 5 stars was because ac in one of the rooms wasn't working very well although it didnt bother me that much because room maintained a nice temperature.Food was very good, make sure you make the reservations the first day! I'll definitely revisit this hotel, I have already bring more friends and family to this hotel. We all enjoy it. Keep up the great work!

    “Great Family Resort”

    Although I had read numerous unflattering reviews of this resort we nevertheless opted to book our family vacation for a number of reasons. First of all, we were 22 members which included 11 children ranging in ages from 6 to 16 requiring 6 rooms. Three of the families traveling with us comprised of two parents and three children. All my research turned up a limited number of resorts that allow 5 individuals in a room. Not only was this resort one of them, but they were one of a very few that provided TWO rooms - one for the parents and one for the kids. This was a major plus. Also, one of the accommodations was a duplex with not only two bedrooms, but two bathrooms as well! And, the prices for this resort were very favorable. Even after all the negative news about recent events in Punta Cana, we decided to go, and are we glad we did! The resort is an amazing place for families with activities available for everyone. They have a party pool, a quiet pool, adult pool, children's pools and water parks to meet everyone's needs. The rooms were great and included hair dryer, mini bar, safe, robes, slippers, and some even had hot tubs on the patio. Lots of fun with water aerobics each day and Zumba, Bingo, etc. WiFi for the week was $45 and worked fine. The food, is adequate and certainly the buffet provides enough variety for everyone to be able to find something they like. They had a different theme each night - Chinese, Mexican, etc. Of the gourmet restaurants, we really enjoyed the steakhouse and the Hibachi. The Italian wasn't great, but their appetizer/salad bar was fabulous. It contained what looked like a 100 lb. wheel of Reggiano Parmigiano that was the best we have ever tasted, even better than in Italy. The Seafood restaurant was disappointing. Overall, our family had a fabulous time and all agreed they would return. I'm not so sure I would only because the place is so large that it requires too much walking.

    “Best experienced”

    The staffs are very friendly and helpful. The airport transfers was very good. The place was super nice and refreshing. A nice swimming pools for adults and kids and a white sand beach. The outside trips and restaurant bookings was easily organized. The kids enjoyed everyday going to the Barcy kids club. It was very child- friendly place a lot of kids activities. There’s a bar where you can relaxed, drinks and play. And you can enjoy the night life drinking and partying at the Disco club. You can also booked on the restaurants you want within the place if you prefer to try different flavors. The buffet was very good as well. The rooms are very comfy, cleaned and secured. All in all the hospitality, cleanliness and organization of the place was SUPERB! ❤️ I really enjoyed in this relaxed atmosphere of the place.

    “Beautiful resort”

    I booked this hotel directly through their website, mostly because it said it would price match if the cost went down. The cost did indeed go down, and I emailed and called guest services. We were disconnected twice from guest services, but one of the agents did tell us that if we printed off the information and took it with us to the resort, they would honor it. They did not honor the lower price (because it wasn't connected to our confirmation number? Needed to happen over email? Still unclear). It wasn't a ton of money, but it wasn't a good feeling to know that we overpaid that the resort didn't honor their word. To be fair, the manager did comp my husband and I both wifi, which put us closer to the middle of the disputed amount. The agent who checked us in was also lovely. It was the situation that sucked. We decided in the end to stay. I'm glad we did! It was hard to find a ton of info about the differences between the family duplex and the family room, but we went with the family room. It was 2 large bedrooms, one with a sofa bed and king bed, and the other with 2 double beds. Beds were comfortable, sheets were very nice. The room and the finishes were high quality. There was a balcony off of both bedrooms. The balcony with the king bedroom had a large jacuzzi on it and bubble bath solution, which my kiddos LOVED. They also did a great job of keeping clean towels on hand both for the beach and the room. The grounds were well kept and manicured. The beach had soft sand, clear water and was combed for seaweed most mornings. There was a good mix of kid, adult and combined pools. We tried the seafood restaurant and the Mexican restaurants. The seafood restaurant was beautiful, the food was good and the service was excellent. The Mexican was none of that, unfortunately. The restaurants also weren't very kid friendly (with the exception of the buffets). The buffet options and food quality were above any of the other all inclusive we have tried. We did not bring a stroller with us, but I did notice that the buildings were very accessible. There were ramps and elevators available everywhere. Overall, it was a great vacation for our kids. If it were just my husband and I returning, we'd probably try a different resort. If we return with our kids, we might try the same resort again - the pools, beach experience, separate rooms, kids options at the buffet, comfy beds all play into that decision. The service was over all good. All of the workers were very friendly to our kids and very kind. The grounds were well kept and beautiful.

    “Super Anlage mit einem hervorragenden Spa Bereich”

    Nachdem wir gebucht haben, nahm ich mir Zeit, alle Kommentare bei Holidaycheck und Tripadvisor zu lesen und Gästefotos anzuschauen. es gab viele negative Kommentare und Fotos. Mit Bauchschmerzen wartete ich auf das Ankommen in dieser Anlage. Ich war positiv überrascht,nichts von den negativen Kommentaren, bestätigte sich. Barcelo Bavaro Palace Deluxe ist eine ziemlich große Anlage und vorallem sehr sauber. Weder mussten wir mit Durchfall oder Magenschmerzern kämpfen. Auch gab es nirgends Mücken,Sandflöhe oder Stechmücken. Also die Reiseapotheke brauchten wir nicht... positiv: ----Check-in + check-out verlief reibungslos und ganz schnell,Zimmer sehr sauber, Bügelbrett+bügeltisch vorhanden, Kaffeemaschine+Kaffee, Nachos+Erdnüsse gibt es täglich kostenlos auf die Zimmer. -----Spa Bereich sehr empfehlenswert-25 Euro Eintritt,richtig gut zum Entspannen. (türkischer Hamam, Dampfsauna, Eisbecken,Heißbecken, Hydrotherapieduschen, -----Freizeitangebote sehr gut, (Bocha,Tischtennis, Sport, Zumba, yoga usw.) ----sehr netter Restaurantchef, der seine Mitarbeiter sehr gut behandelt! ----supertolle Grünlandschaft im Hotel ----Michael Jackson Show sehr sehr empfehlenswert! ----Minibar wird täglich aufgefüllt mit orginalen Getränken wie Cola.Fanta,Sprite. -----super Poollandschaften, auch die Ecke hinter dem REstaurant mit den Minivillen und dem Pool sehr schön. negativ: ---- GETRÄNKE im Restaurant. Schmecken widerlich-keine orginalen Getränke. Ob Cola, Sprite oder Fanta, es schmeckt wie Chlorwasser. -----Köche arbeiten alle ohne Handschuhe.Das geht nicht. ---Kakerlake im Zimmer. (hat nichts mit der Hygiene zu tun) Zimmer 8558. Balkon hat Schlitze. von dort kommen die Kakerlaken rein. Wir haben die Schlitze mit Kosmetiktüchern vollgestopft und die Balkontür nicht aufgemacht. ----Internet ist sehr teuer. 12 Euro pro Tag. (Empfehlung: Mit dem Taxi San Juan Einkaufszentrum und im Handyshop "Claro" eine 5 GB Simkarte für 17 Euro kaufen(ohne Reisepass) ---- Teller werden nicht abgeräumt, Besteck fehlt zu den Mittagszeiten auf den Tischen. Man muss mehrmals sicn an die Kellnerinnen melden. ---- wenig englischsprechendes Personal, ----- Desinfektionsspender fehlt vor den Restaurants --

    “Super Anlage mit einem hervorragenden Spa Bereich”


    Nachdem wir gebucht haben, nahm ich mir Zeit, alle Kommentare bei Holidaycheck und Tripadvisor zu lesen und Gästefotos anzuschauen. es gab viele negative Kommentare und Fotos. Mit Bauchschmerzen wartete ich auf das Ankommen in dieser Anlage. Ich war positiv überrascht,nichts von den negativen Kommentaren, bestätigte sich. Barcelo Bavaro Palace Deluxe ist eine ziemlich große Anlage und vorallem sehr sauber. Weder mussten wir mit Durchfall oder Magenschmerzern kämpfen. Auch gab es nirgends Mücken,Sandflöhe oder Stechmücken. Also die Reiseapotheke brauchten wir nicht... positiv: ----Check-in + check-out verlief reibungslos und ganz schnell,Zimmer sehr sauber, Bügelbrett+bügeltisch vorhanden, Kaffeemaschine+Kaffee, Nachos+Erdnüsse gibt es täglich kostenlos auf die Zimmer. -----Spa Bereich sehr empfehlenswert-25 Euro Eintritt,richtig gut zum Entspannen. (türkischer Hamam, Dampfsauna, Eisbecken,Heißbecken, Hydrotherapieduschen, -----Freizeitangebote sehr gut, (Bocha,Tischtennis, Sport, Zumba, yoga usw.) ----sehr netter Restaurantchef, der seine Mitarbeiter sehr gut behandelt! ----supertolle Grünlandschaft im Hotel ----Michael Jackson Show sehr sehr empfehlenswert! ----Minibar wird täglich aufgefüllt mit orginalen Getränken wie Cola.Fanta,Sprite. -----super Poollandschaften, auch die Ecke hinter dem REstaurant mit den Minivillen und dem Pool sehr schön. negativ: ---- GETRÄNKE im Restaurant. Schmecken widerlich-keine orginalen Getränke. Ob Cola, Sprite oder Fanta, es schmeckt wie Chlorwasser. -----Köche arbeiten alle ohne Handschuhe.Das geht nicht. ---Kakerlake im Zimmer. (hat nichts mit der Hygiene zu tun) Zimmer 8558. Balkon hat Schlitze. von dort kommen die Kakerlaken rein. Wir haben die Schlitze mit Kosmetiktüchern vollgestopft und die Balkontür nicht aufgemacht. ----Internet ist sehr teuer. 12 Euro pro Tag. (Empfehlung: Mit dem Taxi San Juan Einkaufszentrum und im Handyshop "Claro" eine 5 GB Simkarte für 17 Euro kaufen(ohne Reisepass) ---- Teller werden nicht abgeräumt, Besteck fehlt zu den Mittagszeiten auf den Tischen. Man muss mehrmals sicn an die Kellnerinnen melden. ---- wenig englischsprechendes Personal, ----- Desinfektionsspender fehlt vor den Restaurants --
