Magnificent beaches, warm weather almost all year round, a variety of sport and leisure activities and a blend of tradition and modernity are some of the attractions that make Agadir a popular tourist destination and one of the most visited cities in Morocco.
Tourists have a range of activities to choose from in Agadir including visiting places of interest like the Kasbah, exploring streets filled with shops and restaurants, talking a stroll along the seafront promenade or taking part in a variety of sports activities, including surfing. This lively city, where the Atlas Mountains meet the sea, is easily accessible from Agadir Airport, and has good transport connections to Casablanca, Marrakesh, Rabat and Tangier.
Agadir is internationally renowned for its beaches and mild climate, making it a premier tourist destination. The beaches in Agadir are wide, with fine sand and warm waters and some are ideal for surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing.
Agadir Beach is surrounded by restaurants and cafés and attracts large numbers of visitors every year wanting to soak up the sunshine and try out the different water sports on offer or even take a ride on a camel.
Other beaches not to be missed are Taghazout Beach, a haven for surfers, or the beaches at Mirleft and Legzira.
