What is the capacity of Barceló Hotels' lounges for events?
Capacity varies depending on the hotel. We have lounges ranging from cosy rooms for committee meetings of up to 10 people, to large auditoriums with capacity for more than 1,000 attendees, such as at Barceló Sevilla Renacimiento or Barceló Punta Umbría Beach Resort. Are there special rates for corporate groups?
Yes, we offer negotiated rates for groups starting from 10 rooms. We tailor our services to meet your company's specific needs, offering a solution that suits your budget.
Are there Meet “all-inclusive” packages for events at Barceló Hotels?
Yes. Through our Meet Plan programme, we offer all-inclusive packages that include accommodation with breakfast, use of the plenary room, basic audiovisual equipment, WiFi connection, and coffee breaks, all designed for corporate groups.
How are technical needs such as AV, streaming or simultaneous translation managed?
All our hotels have trusted technical partners. We can provide screens, projectors, sound, streaming cameras, and translation booths, either within a package or through a personalised quote.
Can the gastronomy for events be customised?
Of course. Our chefs adapt menus for specific needs such as vegetarian, vegan, halal, kosher, or gluten-free. We also develop themed proposals and showcookings for incentives or gala dinners.
What is the cancellation and flexibility policy for MICE groups?
We offer flexible conditions, with cancellation deadlines adapted according to volume, season, and advance notice of the booking. For large events, we offer staggered payment and cancellation plans.
Is it possible to conduct a site inspection before confirming?
Yes, we provide inspection visits by appointment. In some cases, we may partially or fully cover the expenses if the group is confirmed afterwards.
Do you offer team building activities or local experiences?
Yes, we coordinate activities through our collaborating DMCs or directly at the hotel (tastings, gymkhanas, cooking classes, etc.). Many hotels have agreements with local suppliers for authentic experiences.
Are there VIP rooms or exclusive spaces for executives?
Yes. Many MICE hotels have executive, premium, or VIP rooms, as well as concierge services or private check-in.
Can contact points be established for the group in the hotel's common areas?
Yes. Depending on the event, we offer spaces such as hospitality desks or meeting points in the hotel's common areas.
Is it possible to privatise the hotel or some areas for the event?
Yes, subject to availability, hotel and requirements, we can privatise spaces or even the entire hotel to guarantee privacy and exclusivity for your event.
