    “Beautiful beach resort”

    Love the location right on the beach ! You can walk to town. There's a shopping center across the street! It's in a gated community on a beautiful street . You feel very safe and comfortable at this Resort and in the area.It offers a lot of activities during the day and great shows at night! It's a small Resort so it's easy to meet the staff and we have met some nice people . Love the all inclusive! Nothing fancy but very nice and comfortable we love the energy there and the beauty!

    “Great value !”

    We loved our stay at this hotel. They offer a great 'boutique style ' resort. It is smaller than the other resorts around and they make us feel super welcomed. The strong point of this place is the service, the staff is just wonderful, they never make you feel like you are bothering them or are too demanding. They go the extra mile. I have never had better service in all the hotels I have visited !

    “Sad Vacation”

    Not sure if we will ever return to Allegro Playacar!!!! We are First Club Members and we were there for two weeks. When we checked in, our room had no A/C. We learned that other F/C rooms had the same issue. After a couple days, I contacted the F/C person and was told that the A/C was suppose to be fixed the Thursday before we arrived and that it would be fixed a couple days later. Well, guess what never happened. We opened windows, turned ceiling fans on high and lived with it. After we expressed our situation to the waiter in the buffet, we were contacted by again a F/C staff and ask if we wanted to change rooms. They would move us to the other side of the resort clear away from the F/C. We declined as we had one week left so we made the best of it. We then learned that the issue was a compressor and it had not even arrived. Why the dishonesty? We had a one bedroom unit and when the wife went to use the shower and turned the water on the water was a dark brown. Looked like sewer water but I am sure it was not. The seaweed was awful and that is not the resorts problem but after a while the smell does get to you. The food has gone down hill really bad. Yes, we can compare this to past times as we have been going to Allegro Playacar for several years. We are not people who think the world should revolve around us, but when you pay a maintenance fee yearly (as do numerous others), then I feel that issues should be handled in a quick manner. The wait staff, maids, bartenders, chefs and most of the F/C staff where as awesome as ever. We use to love this resort and looked forward to vacationing there yearly. This will most likely not happen again.

    “May visit 2019”

    awesome first club experience with Jessica and Allan. restaurant and bar staff very attentive. Be sure to get to the Italian restaurant, Asian, and Mexican dinners. Wait staff in restaurant were phenomenal. Very friendly and hard working. front desk also awesome

    “Allegro Playacar”

    Had a nice time, might come back, might not. That is the overall message for this vacation..A lot of good things like local of resort to other attractions, easy access from Cancun, nice beach..To ok stuff like decent food, watered down alcohol, warm pools..Room was a little run down, air conditioning didn’t work, sink had brown stuff flowing out at one point, and toilet handle broke..So good vacation overall but no WoW factor..

    “Beautiful beach resort”

    “Allegro Playacar”


    Had a nice time, might come back, might not.
