    “Good in parts”

    There is much to recommend this hotel. It is in a prime location close to the beach and the wide promenade. The staff in the hotel were, without exception, welcoming, friendly and very efficient. The food is exceptional with enough variety to suit everyone. Although the building is architecturally fabulous with beautiful surrounding gardens, the rooms have seen better days. If our room was anything to go by, the hotel is in desperate need of an upgrade. The bathroom was scruffy with missing tiles and cracks in the bath. The air conditioning didn’t work, though the beds were comfortable. It would have been nice to have had a hotel information file in the room. But despite the criticisms. We had a good holiday.

    “Holiday ”

    Clean and spacious hotel, great staff and animations team, limited food but otherwise ok, great on site entertainment all day every day, we would recommend for a great family get away. Beach only 2 minute walk from back entrance of the hotel, the only thing you need to learn is to say no to the locals as they hound you.

    “Honest review/ the good and the bad.”

    OK reviews were pretty mixed before booking so it was a chance I took. Trying to contact/email hotel is a no no and this is consistant with guests so that's not a great start. Check-in was fairly straightforward and we were taken to our room. Room tired and dated but to be fair it was clean so it was OK. Hotel is a 4* which I strongly dispute unless it's out of 10, more of a 2 *. Animation tream good and tried to get everyone involved but didn't take a no wen you meant no so I got fed up with this. Big shout to Abir as she is the life and soul of the hotel and so friendly and will do very well in the business. The bar staff at both bars were something else, pool bar staff abd rude,did not smile, they appeared to be doing you a favour serviing you so that was a massive let down and let the hotel down massively. One day I was ordering drinks and 3 guys stood around talking to each other completly ignoring me until I said some thing, then didn't listen and was getting me the wrong drink, I told them they don't listen to customers or pay attention to which they all laughed so I was not happy with this treatment and told them so. Bar staff in hotel not much better and think staff need to go on communovation training on how to relate to customers. Restaurant staff very attengive, attentive and spoke politely to guests and did a fantastic job except for the miserable manager who seriously has an attitude with peopleach, usually on his phone or stiff looking g miserable as sin and needs go treat his hard working staff with more dignity and respect. Food for vegetarian's was OK but not all veggie food labelled correctly so I nearly ate meat and fish on 3 separate occasions which I was very upset about. Spoke to the manager who really wasn't interested whatsoever and gave me a poor excuse that he likea to offer choice which was not relevant go my question what sover and repeated my question that food needs to be labelled more clearly especially if your vegetarian but he not interested so he is a digrace of a manager and let's the hotel down badly. The lovey manager Mohammed was a different person, a very hands on manager who chatted and mixed with guests and was very visable to be everywhere in the hotel so a very hands on manager and an absolute credit go the hotel he really is and on hand to deal with any issues you have. Evening entrainment was not great so we didn't bother joining in and did our own thing. Location great and 2 minutes walk to the beach and nearby restauranta. We often went out to get a decent coffee and hotels coff and tea was awful. Rooms need a little in so you can make a cuppa when you want one. Would I go navy. ........no I won't be returning with so many issues. All my or previous holidays have been the hotel staff who are a big part of your holiday and this lacked on most levels at Allegro.

    “Great stay at the Allegro, Agadir”

    Have just returned from a week relaxing at the Hotel Allegro, Agadir. We were - initially concerned due to some bad reviews but really couldn't fault it. If you want burger and chips then you need to pick a different hotel, although pizza and chips was available from the snack bar if you felt the need. The menu options were varied and included fish, vegetarian and meat dishes, including traditional Moroccan Tangines. The wine flowed freely, special mention to Hassan who looked after us, keeping our drinks topped up. Although check-in was a little chaotic once this was done, we found the staff were very welcoming and friendly, and the entertainment team worked tirelessly to provide entertainment for all of the guests. A useful tip, take lots of coins for tips. They accept Euros and Pounds so don't bother exchanging your money unless you want to go on any trips organised by the hotel, which require cash payment. Our room was a little tired, but clean so all in all a great stay, so ignore the poor reviews, after only paying £615 for two for one week all inclusive we really couldn't fault the hotel.
