    “Very good!”

    The dessert is the only negative point, the dessert is sickening and without much flavor, which should be improved, only the creme brulee is excellent.. I think you should have pool heating, because in this months have a lot of wind in the beach.

    “my opinion of the Bacelo Bavaro”

    The staff and service of the Barcelo Bavaro Palace was excellent, and attentive to individual needs, though the food was average at best. The golf was excellent, though the rental for golf carts was a bit excessive.

    “Wonderful relaxing vacation”

    We just returned from a fabulous stay at the Barcelo Bavaro Palace. We traveled with two children ages 13 & 15. We had booked two JR. suites and asked that they be adjoined, upon arrival we were told they did not have any available but the staff worked hard to get our rooms close and they were 1 room apart. We knew at the booking it would be based on availability so we weren't disappointed. The rooms were wonderful and the kids enjoyed the jacuzzi tub on the balcony. The beds were comfortable and the noise level was very low. There is a mini fridge in the room that they stock each day and even a couple snack bags (chips, nuts) are left in the room too. We found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful. We worked with Jorge to book reservations at some restaurants and we were actually able to book for each night if we so chose. We decided to book the Japanese (awesome), the steakhouse (awesome), and Mexican (fair). The remaining nights we enjoyed the buffet. The selection at the buffet was good, some days better than others but we were glad to have the specialty restaurants to break it up. The thing about this hotel that stands out to me is there were so many chairs whether it was on the beach or at the pool. There didn't seem to be the reserving that you see at other places. The pools were cold but that didn't stop us from going in. The beach is wonderful. If you walk down it a short ways there is a market with souvenirs and such. We made arrangements at that market to do a glass bottom boat/snorkeling adventure. You can also book through hotel but it is more expensive. I will definately recommend this hotel to friends and family.

    “Beautiful!”

    My family of five went the last weekend of January for one week. Two adults and three children ages 11, 13 yr old twins. We travelled by Air transit from Toronto direct to Punta Cana. Be prepared for the airport customs nightmare. No order and very slow. Just the airport experience would make me not want to ever come back. We were provided transportation to the hotel in our package and were very close to the airport, perhaps 15-20 min away. The resort is huge! Beautifully maintained. Adult only area and family only areas. We stayed in a family suite. One room with 2 double beds, and another bedroom with a king size bed and s twin bed. Both areas had a balcony and the master had a 1 person whirlpool tub on the balcony. Kids went in it. A/c worked great, bar fridge, safe and nice bathroom. Maid service was fantastic. Buffets and the a la carte restaurants were good. Japanese, and steak restaurants were my favourite. You had to book as soon as you land or it was difficult getting a reservation. Water park attached to hotel was not crowded and wonderful for kids. We got a free day pass and paid another day at $10 US per person. Golf course on site. Ate meals at club house which were good and fresh and better than the buffet after a few days there. The resort has s trolley train that drives you around if u want. Walking is faster😀 Loved the resort. Quiet for sleeping . Comfortable beds. Beach was fairly clean and lots of loungers. Pool loungers were taken early morning. So much to do: spa, gym, bowling, escape room, golf, daytime activities. Bring all your first aid and medications as very difficult to find Tylenol. I would definitely return to this resort if the airport was better supervised. Return was equally awful clearing customs with the waiting. Our plane was delayed an hour as 36 people had not cleared customs and they were there 3 hrs in advance!

    “NO TO BAD”

    It was nice a experience, but I have gotten other better resorts in the same area. The personnel is incredible and offer more than excellent service. I will not use the marina to go to dive again, because it has the worst service that I know: They do not give you that they offer

    The staff and service of the Barcelo Bavaro Palace was excellent, and attentive to individual needs, though the food was average at best. The golf was excellent, though the rental for golf carts was a bit excessive.
