    “Huge”

Friend of ours had warned us that this place was big but I thought they were exaggerating. This place is literally a small town. There is a trolley you can take to go from one place to another and it takes about 30 min to do the whole round. We were staying closer to the convention center, we had a room with a jacuzzi on the balcony buy not all rooms come with it. Rooms are super humid. We had problems with our room, first when it rained the water leaked inside the room. Another day it started "raining" inside the room, the A/C was leaking. We called and they came after 15 minutes and fixed it. Staff is very polite and friendly. Beach is huge, you can walk for awhile. Sand is white with pink specks. Water is beautiful but full of algae. The resort has a bunch of restaurants. There are a few stores where you can buy beach toys for the kids so no need to bring from home. Beach does not offer toys (as some hotels do). The beach has free activities (based on your package) such as kayak, stand paddling, boat rides ... You can also purchase stuff as swimming with dolphins and other fun activities that we didn't do. By the pool they have fun stuff such as dancing, games, a guy walks around with wild animals (lizards, monkeys ...) and a photographer to take a pics. The pool is huge and mostly shallow. There is a pool with water slides for younger kids (barcy water park is free, not to be confused with the small kiddie pool by the bigger pool) and another one for bigger kids (pirate something) but you have to pay to get in. There is minigolf, a kids club with toys and outdoor space, disco, casino, adults only side and beach ... I think it's fun for kids maybe 9 and up as they can go around by themselves (a few friends together) still being safe. We went in April and the resort was pretty full, the beach by the big pool hardly had chairs available by early afternoon , but if you walk towards the adult side it gets quieter. The beach is "self service" and there are no umbrellas but you can find shade under the numerous palm trees on the beach. The beach has no towel service and you have to carry your towel from your room, good news is that if they get dirty you can switch them for clean ones by the pool. Oh there is also a shopping area. Enjoy!

    “Awesome vacation”

I traveled with a group friends and family of thirty six + we all had a great time, everyone enjoyed it. I liked the most was buffet food, good drinks and nice servers at the pool bar. I will visit again.

    “Amazing Beach Vacation”

Amazing beach, had a bit of seaweed every day but they were good at cleaning it up. Restaurants had great options, but a challenge to get reservations. We just showed up a couple of the nights and they fit us in. Best ones were Italian and Japanese. Service was a bit slower. Staff was friendly and easier to communicate than expected. Junior Suite rooms were perfect with Ocean views.

“Beautiful hotel and beach with bad customer service”

The hotel and beach are beautiful. Food is good (probably not outstanding). Rooms are big, clean and well maintained. We unfortunately had trouble with the check-in and both clerk and supervisor had a 'can't do' attitude. After complaining we got offered spa treatments as compensation that took another hour and three different individuals to book. At check-out my credit card was charged double which to the reception manager is 'no big deal'. Again: hotel and location is great but our experience with the service was memorable, unfortunately not positively.

“we back on April 12, 2017”

First place where we have to pay for wifi, it is not free, and not always working. The Bar's line(!) going slow. All staff were looking for the tips from the beginning, we are living in NY, we 100% know when to pay tips. The resort oversaturated. The sea is full of seaweeds. You will need to find the place where to swim. we have been in different resorts at the different locations, Aruba, Mexico, Jamaica, Last year we've been in RIU Bavaro Palace resort, and sorry we did not go in this time. I do not know how staff appreciated by their management, but nobody smile.....and people talk about it.
