    “Wonderful Vacation”

    From the time we arrived to the time we left, we didn't have a single issue or problem. Check in took some time, however, while we were wating in line, we were offered drinks. The Beach here is amazing- powder soft sand. It was hard to get towlels- they always seemed to be out- but I had heard this and we did bring our own beach towels. The service. from the bartenders to the maids was outstanding. I have never been to a hotel- resort, unitl now, where the people were so friendly. They were always eager to help. We did a couple of excursions, and the guides were also very friendly and helpful. One thing I want to mention is that were were booked for a double room, and when checking in, I asked for a king size bed, and we got it- no problem

Other than no beer in the room...but I think that depends on what you book. No big deal. We had a favourite bar tender everywhere..we enjoyed the saxophone in the evenings. The beach is absolutely gorgeous... love love love that. The resort looks quite large but is actually easy to navigate and get around. The entertainment both in the daytime and nights were great. We were sad to leave the first time and are looking forward to returning again soon

    “Excellent Resort!”

    When we arrive we were greeted by Jose Cavidsco, who took our bags got my GF and I a couple drinks and even brought us up to our room. He really helped us kick off a great week! Jose was very helpful with helping us with the layout of the resort. The staff is excellent and very friendly. The grounds are well maintained, the beach is beautiful! The buffet and restaurants have plenty of options around the clock. We stayed in February 2017 and we would definitely go back to this resort for another stay.

    “Nice resort not so great room.”

    We arrived around 3pm and it was hot, we were disappointed that we were not greeted with a welcome drink. There was a waitress bringing drinks, but it was very slow so we went and got our own from the bar. Was a long wait to check in and we asked if we would be able to upgrade our rooms. She responded no were 100% full. She told us our luggage would be brought to our rooms, so we went ahead to find our rooms. Was disappointed to find out since being one number apart. We found that my room was on the other side of the storage cupboard and there was no way to get there but go around the courtyard. This storage cupboard had a metal gate on it that was very loud, screechy and banged around lots, which we heard all times of day including the middle of the night. The worst time was first thing in the morning 6:30-7am when the cleaning staff gathered out side our room and was impossible to sleep through, plus there were constant carts going by our room. Rooms very outdated and musty smelling but, the first thing we noticed in both our rooms the safes were both broken. I called the front desk to send someone to fix the safe and waited well over an hour for someone to come. Meanwhile we sent out kids to get our luggage that never showed up, it was still sitting in the lobby. So once all of this was finished around 6pm, the pool was closing and we barley made it to the beach to see the sunset that evening. The beach was amazing, and very clean! Absolutely nothing to complain about there. We had our first meal at the buffet and we found it hard to find anything decent to eat. There was not much selection and most of the food was cold. If your a wine drinker you won't want to drink the wine they serve at the buffet. It was terrible, we couldn't even drink it. We ended up ordering a bottle for $25. Breakfast the next day was pretty much the same, not much selection and everything was cold. The pools were clean and not too crowded. We ate lunch at the Mexican restaurant that day, they had a menu with a few choices on it. My sister said the Lemon Chicken was very good, I ordered the sandwich and it was ok. We had dinner and the Italian restaurant and it was not too bad, better wine from a bottle at least. The pasta was very tasty and the pumpkin soup was great! We had lunch at the pizza place upstairs the next day and it was very good also. We also went to the Dominican restaurant, and it was also decent. By far the best restaurant was the Japanese. Wi-fi was not cheap if you wanted to use it, it was free in the casino after 6pm (the only problem was the smoking). After the first night our tv pictures wasn't working, I told the front desk and was happy that they replaced the tv that afternoon. The maid service was spotty, they usually came too early and if you were still in your room they didn't come till later in the evening. I know my sister had a hard time getting towels, and had to share towels with her sons. On my last full day there is spent it waiting for over 2 hours to get the repairman to open my safe which wouldn't open. I called 3 times and asked the maid for the man to come. Once he fixed it, it was still not working well so I decided to carry everything around with me instead of waiting for the repairman to come back again. As a Travel Agent, overall I would tell my clients it was not a bad resort, was clean and had lots of stuff for our teenagers to do. I would have likely been saying this place was amazing if we had a better room, in a better location not beside the storage closet with the big giant loud gate. Also the service couldn't have been better, not too bad would give it 3* not 4* as they indicate.

    “I LOVE THIS PLACE!”

    From the minute my mother and i walked in, we were greeted with big smiles from everyone! absolutely LOVE this place. amazing staff, yummy drinks & good hospitality! special shoutout to Juan Castro for being so kind and generous and answering any questions we had! we absolutely loved our bartenders, Victor and Heriberto! very kind people! loved the pools and the beach space! very nice! definitely coming back soon!
