    “Excellent vacation at the Occidental Costa Cancun”

    This was a wonderful vacation experience at an all-inclusive hotel. The food was great at all restaurants, with the service fantastic and very attentive staff, the room was spacious and clean every day, the pool was big and clean, it's right on the beach, drinks were delicious and the service was great, our view was not a full ocean view, but very nice, lots of things to do during the day and night, or sit and relax, and the spa and gym were nice. I know I'm leaving something out. It is located near one end of the hotel strip, which was nice not to be on top of the next hotel. Also, it was right next to the pirate ships for the dinner cruises coming in and out. A very good deal.

    “This place is crap!”

    Ugh. We got a overnite flight cancelation and we're shipped off to this hotel as we awaited the next flight. Maybe I'm too hard on these kinds of places but this is a spring-break-cheap-boozey-wonderland. The food was atrocious and the staff really we're not helpful. The rooms were blah and the grounds were a cheap imitation of a good resort. Sorry but the place blew.

    “short stay at Occidental costa”

    nice hotel, no shopping close by and no walking from the beach to other hotels. nice night entertainment, food mediocre at the any time food restaurant, the rest is on a daily appointment so if you missed to reserve you have to go to the buffet.

    “What a DUMP!”

    We got dumped in this “resort” after our flight out of Cancun was canceled. I guess they must keep the crappiest, dirtiest rooms on hold for such an occasion. I blame both the airline and the resort for this. Our room was barely big enough for the bed and 2 nightstands. The fridge was dirty. They gave us only 1 key. I knew as soon I saw the door to the room it wasn’t going to be pretty inside. There are several “sit down” restaurants, but you can’t get into them if you are a comped airline guest (we had different colored wrist bands than other customers.) The buffet selection was OK, I guess, for a place of this caliber. The wait staff in the buffet was attentive. When we returned to our room for the night, we pulled down the comforter and found the sheets had not been changed. Crusty “sex” stains (yes, they were crusty....I touched them, and then washed my hands) were all over the sheets. Had to call to have them replaced at 9 PM. Housekeeping finally showed up 45 minutes later. Trying to attach a photo of the sheets, but iPad not cooperating.

    “Excellent Vacations here!!!!”

    My partner, my daughter and I decided our vacations in Cancun. Being in a budget, we went with OCCIDENTAL COSTA CANCUN since prices were right on for us. From the time we arrived for check in , we had no idea what to expect for our first time being in Mexico. Well, to our surprise, we had a GREAT TIME there. We had *All inclusive* for 6 days. The registration was smooth and fast. The double room #654 was Very clean and spacious. The food was Delicious! Our server, SR. WILLIAM, went all out for us. Very professional yet very attentive and caring. Always going out of his ways to help us in everything we needed. Excellent server and human being! The daily activities and night shows were amazing. Thanks to the team, Dany (my daughter J. says hi ,lol), Clarissa and Brandon made sure that we had a blast. Hello to all. Amazing kids.So professional and energetic at all times. Overall, I will rate The staff and Resort 100%. Will do it all over again. Thanks everyone for making our vacation to Cancun a Great experience and have great memories to share.     “Excellent vacation at the Occidental Costa Cancun”


    This was a wonderful vacation experience at an all-inclusive hotel. The food was great at all restaurants, with the service fantastic and very attentive staff, the room was spacious and clean every day, the pool was big and clean, it's right on the beach, drinks were delicious and the service was great, our view was not a full ocean view, but very nice, lots of things to do during the day and night, or sit and relax, and the spa and gym were nice. I know I'm leaving something out. It is located near one end of the hotel strip, which was nice not to be on top of the next hotel. Also, it was right next to the pirate ships for the dinner cruises coming in and out. A very good deal.
