    “Beautiful Views”

    great hotel,beautiful views ,excellent waiters and bartenders,lots of fun things to do all day and evening drive picked us up at airport took us to hotel ,driver picked us up when leaving never felt in any danger at all, loved our stay there but ate and drank way to much think i gained 5 ppounds would recommened this place for sure hate when i had to leave and come home to usa most beautiful place i ever vacationed at

    “Excellent MEXICAN Staff, not so much the Italian staff...”

    Allegro Playacar is a wonderful, newly renovated resort. I have frequented this Allegro several times over the years and will continue to visit because of the gorgeous beach and most importantly amazing MEXICAN staff. These staff members, both men and women, go ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure all hotel guests are happy. The waiters, cooks, bartenders, and cleaning staff are all passionate about their positions. I do suggests they get a raise $$$ and get extra bonuses as an incentive. As for the animation team, I cannot say enough words for the Allegro animation team. The MEXICAN animation team are Fernando, Mario, Alejandro, Jesus, Armando, and Victor (Venezuelan); they ALL go above and beyond to always have daily entertainment rain or shine. These guys are absolutely genuinely wonderful and integrate every single guest in the resort. These guys work non stop from the early morning to the late evening shows. Their passion shows in their enthusiasm and the way they treat all guests. My personal observation and also communicating with other hotel guests we all agree that it is UNFAIR how the MEXICAN animation team is treated by the general administration, whereas the Italian "Eden animation" team get the royal treatment by the general administration, while they do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING during the day and evening in animation with guests. The Italian "animators" literally just stand around and rarely mingle with guests. The Italian "animators" do the BARE MINIMUM and earn a higher salary in EUROS. Whereas the HARDWORKING MEXICAN animators work all day, exhausts themselves rain or shine, go above and beyond to please all guests, are on their feet all day under the sun, while making sure all hotel guests are enetertained. I also noticed the MEXICAN ANIMATORS are NOT ALLOWED to eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner, nor drink soda or juice with hotel guests, whereas the Italian "animators" can join the hotel guests in the restaurants and buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. How UNFAIR and RACIST is this??? All these AMAZING guys Fernando, Mario, Alejandro, Jesus, Armando, and Victor, do ALL OF THE WORK DAY AFTER DAY, and are not compensated to eat with guests and are also underpaid in Mexican Pesos??? Whereas the Italian counterpart are highly paid in Euros, and are allowed to eat and drink with hotel guests. Where is the fairness? The Italian Eden animators are useless, and get paid for sitting under the shade. These has to be IMMEDIATE CHANGE and BETTER PERKS for all MEXICAN STAFF. The Mexican staff deserve a higher wage and better administrative treatment when it comes to fairness. The Italian animators take up space and honestly I have yet to see them do anything beside walking around, hiding for most of the day, or sitting under the shade; whereas Fernando, Mario, Alejandro, Jesus, Armando, and Victor run all of the entertainment and are visibly present through out every minute of the day.  Please pay your MEXICAN STAFF a HIGHER WAGE and allow them to eat and drink with guests. The MEXICAN STAFF is the HEART of Allegro Playacar.

    “Good Resort ”

    The resort was quite good. Staff was quite kind. First night i ve found that there was a bat in my room but they cannot change the same day. I suggest to ask for a ground floor room otherwise u risk to have animals inside. Food are acceptable, location is not so comfortable for who wants to go in the center of the playa del carmen.

    “ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL !!!!”

    First Club staff totally amazing, bartenders Julio,Santiago and Jose always pleasant.Jessica and all reception staff were able to accommodate all our wishes.Our waiters Isaac , Alejandro ,Umberto and many others absolutely a delight. It felt like we were leaving family when it was time to return home.The entertainment staff were always attentive and went above and beyond to make our stay pleasurable especially Jesus ,Armando , Alejandro,Fernando and Victor.Even thehousekeeping staff were great! The specialty restaurents Mexican and Italian were awesome, Asian not so hot .Again have to make special mention of all our waiters and our disco bartenders Ezekial and Angel ever attentive.Can't wait to return ! Overall we had a wonderful time ! Only downfall was not enough shade on the beach.

    “An outstanding newly renovated ressort”

    We had a great warm and sunny time in this extremely clean resort. The pool was perfect for our wish to spend a quiet time together (honeymoon). The beach area comprising of a white sand is also enjoyable.

    “An outstanding newly renovated ressort”
