    “Old fashioned beauty!”

Came here after a stay at La Residencia in Deia with our teenage son - which was wonderful but very expensive. The room was quite basic but had everything we needed - but the wow factor cut in when we were shown to our balcony - a view to die for! Breakfast good and staff lovely. The restaurants along the beach are pretty poor so we took lunch in the restaurant above the pool most days - good food but not cheap, and not a great menu for teenagers and youngsters. Saying that can't wait to return. If you want 5 star plastic luxury don't come - if you want a hotel with real character this is for you!

    “Another epoch ”

Spent 4 days with my family and must say it was a really special and memorable experience. If I have to be frank rooms deserve a 3/5 and I am being generous but the beach...ohhh that beach is a 10/10...the park and grounds surrounding the hotel are also smth that you don't come across often. I overheard that the hotel might go thorough some overdue modernization hopefully it will not lose any of its charm and carefully done work can elevate this hotel to Europe's elite...

“The most restful, relaxing stay I've ever had.”

This place was just the most relaxing experience from beginning to end. The drive to get there in a car I was unused to was "interesting" (the road gets quite narrow and quite busy) but after that it was, from beginning to end, perfection for us. Our room was a basic one on the ground floor - could it have done with a couple of bits touching up; yes but don't let that bother you - it was clean and very well equipped and we spent so little time in there it really didn't bother us. Staff were very good and welcoming. There is good parking at the hotel which is tucked pretty much out of the way in some respects up the coast so you feel very secluded even though the beach itself is very popular. There is private access to and from the hotel to the beach. Food at the hotel was excellent; we ate at both the "standard" restaurant and the one downstairs which you were meant to book. Both were very good as was the wine selection. Breakfasts were also very good. Looking out from the terrace, sipping Cava for breakfast in the sun - wonderful. The real bonus is the magical patio, terraces and gardens that run down to the beach; beautifully kept with lovely flowers and a nice vegetable area, There is also a lovely outside pool, well two. We chilled-out and just relaxed for a week; well maybe a bit of swimming and reading but nothing too taxing.
