    “Excellent!”

    My family and I stayed there for afew days last week and we were blown away by the cleanliness of the entire hotel, rooms, lobby area, etc. The environment was cool calm & relaxing. The food in all the 4 restaurants was amazing, professional and friendly staff... the bar never disappoints! Anything you want anytime of the day you can have. The Snack bar upstairs was very convenient for kids especially to grab a quick snack in between breakfast, lunch and dinner amidst all the bathing. The staff was always helpful and catered to your every need. Special mention to the gentleman who booked tours for Xcaret and also special mention to the wonderful Serena and Dani who were in charge of water activities on our last day!

    “FIRST EXPERIENCE!!”

    Traveled with my husband and two adult children (age 18 and 22) This is our first time in an All Inclusive experience and Cancun itself. Our first impression of the Cancun airport was the Customs area. The officers at Customs were unfriendly and cold. Our flight was late to Cancun (11pm), so we couldn't really see anything outside. We booked a private shuttle from this Hotel using USA $. The shuttle guy was right outside the airport holding up a piece of paper on a clipboard with our name written on it. We arrived the Occidental Costa Cancun Hotel around 12 midnight. It took about 10 minutes to check in, the porter helped with all our luggage to our room. We had an adjoining room, one with a king bed and other with two queen beds. Both rooms had a balcony but the room with the two queen beds, had half the size balcony of the room with the king size bed. The rooms were facing the pool area, which had a nice view. The rooms had a safe, mini fridge with bottled water, soda and beers. One flat screen TV seemed broken. Our experiences with this hotel were: 1-Resturant Experience: The staffs here were friendly. We felt welcome here. Breakfast and lunch were good. For dinner, if you wanted to have nice sitting dinner, you would have to wake up each morning between 7am~9am. One day I was in the lobby around 7:20am and the dinner reservation line was long. If you cannot wake up early, you can head to the buffet style restaurant. We had a buffet dinner on our last day there at the Occidental Costa Cancun. There we're shows every night at 9pm by the pool area, So make sure to have your dinner early. 2-In this hotel, there are 3 different excursion information desks that you can purchase at. 3-Beach Experience: The beach was man-made. You can see that they poured lot of white sand and cover the seedwed out in the water. The beach was a decent size, not crowed, and had plenty of beach chairs. Every morning the staff would clean the seedweed and trash off the beach. 4-Room Experience: Pro: Room was spacious and clean. The mattresses and pillows were comfortable. Con: The fixtures in the bathroom were rusted, the shade of the floor lamp was also rusted. 5-There was a taxi stand with a price list at the front of this hotel. Advice for new travelers to Cancun: 1-you can wave at a taxi everywhere in Cancun but be sure to bargain. Ask how many miles to your destination. (For my experience it was one mile per US dollar) 2-make sure you have plenty of one dollar bills in your purse for tips.

    “Recent Traveler”

    Overall good. Just some staff members were rude but majority of them were very kind, friendly and accommodating. Food was very good in Albatros. Specialty restaurants did not have much varieties. Hotel is at a good distance from the airport which was not so good.

    Everything was excellent, I went there twice and I was very satisfied both times. Everybody Is friendly and constantly keeping busy, place is very clean in every corner. Food was delicious and also for restaurants. Highly recommend.

    We want to thanks Brandon Aldana,for his services of teaching is how to dance , Zumba, games his the best, and room service, food the best, bar tender too.. we are coming back!!!! All the night shows are very Nice, we had Restaurants cloth.
