    “Started great but levelled out”

    Me and my partner arrived late in the evening and we were ushered straight to the restaurant before it closed at 10pm. We booked the adults only Royal Level and our initial thoughts were how clean and nice everything was. As we got used to the larger hotel and found our feet, our opinion tempered out somewhat. Sure it was comfortable but we thought the hotel was trying to be two things at the same time. The overlap between adults only royal level and the families H/B meant it was neither one nor the other. The entertainment was non existent in Royal Level and we made the odd appearance in the 'Teatro' to observe tribute bands of questionable standard. It seemed pandemonium at times with families and kids ignoring the performances to the point of almost running riot whilst Dad stood in one long conga to get served by the only small bar open in the the theatre. No real effort was made for the World cup semi finals despite plentiful flat screens around the hotel. I asked the staff at the pool if he would put the football on the flat screen tv on wheels to which he shrugged. The night before in the Green Bar when i asked the barman if that screen would show the world cup semi final tomorrow, he too shrugged and was not sure, eventually saying 'possibly' but maybe no sound!. Individually these points sound minor but when we look back on our experience it certainly removes any gloss we initially felt. Something is missing there and I think it is atmosphere, nobody seemed to be in a fun, happy or holiday mood, from the staff right through to the guests. I'm not sure if the place is up for sale but there were plenty of suits walking around and managers with clipboards ticking a box as they went along. Outside of the hotel there were very few bars and even less restaurants to try. Speaking with regular visitors they have closed due to the proliferation of All Inclusive hotels and holidays makers staying in the one place and rarely venturing out. An example of this was Sunday 15th July there was the annual festival of Nuestra Señora Del Carmen taking place in Morro Jable old town, flotillas of boats and street food etc. Non of this was advertised anywhere in the hotels or streets, apparently hotels want you to stay put was the consensus. The beach was perfect, beautiful atlantic clear sea...perfect. We were kind of done after about five days if truth be told. Italy next year.

    “Excellent Adults Only resort”

    Second time in this fantastic Hotel and we had a lovely break . Everything was superb from the reception to the room , the Restaurant and the Bar. Rooms are very spacious and clean . As it is the Adult section it was even more relaxing . Will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone ..

    Arrived here on Sunday 24th June, from the moment I arrived I was treated like royalty 👑 fantastic hotel, exquisite food & fabius staff. I was travelling alone and this was possibly the best experience I've had whilst going on holiday by myself... Flo in the Atlantico Restaurant was amazing, all the staff from the house keeping to the bar and restaurant staff were fabulous. Royal level reception was extremely helpful and made my stay wonderful, am already arranging to visit again next summer......... Thank you Royal level for making my holiday brilliant🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

    “Gorgeoussssss gorgeousssssssssss”

    Well once again myself and sis had the pleasure to spend our annual weeks holiday together here, at our very favourite hotel. Huge thanks to super smashing lovely Marianna on Royal reception who as always came through with making sure we had the very best stay. Thank you Marianna you're the best x thanks too to another helpful lady on reception Giulia, who told us lots about their wall of fame in reception. ( Check it out, many well known faces have stayed including Woody Harrelson last year. We were gutted to have missed him whilst sipping a g & t at the Royal green room bar!) I believe the Royal section has a new manager, and there's a few slight changes since our stay last year. Fresh juice of the day menu offered at breakfast, and there seemed more varied food choices at lunchtime, with more different choices at dinner. It's the usual great relaxing atmosphere. No loud music, and a friendly new customer relations lady called Kate, (please go say hello if you visit, she will be so pleased) who offers gentle exercises each day, and there was also a small wine cheese tasting session at lunchtime which was a fun touch. They still offer the al la carte restaurant option besides the buffet, but we only visited on one evening as we were fooded out! I still feel regular guests would prefer the old option al la carte which offered lots of options and was always very very busy. The new al la carte appeared to be virtually empty ( even less people than when we visited the restaurant last year) not sure it's taken on so well. Good to see there's still service every day at the top deck sun area, and they've now added a few snacks and sandwich packs in cold table there should you not want to go into the main restaurants for lunch. A great addition. All in all we had another fab time here, and as always it's such a sadness when we have to say goodbye. Everyone works so very hard to make sure you have an excellent stay, and they are so professional ( and cheerful) in their work too. Thank you all so much for our great stay.     “Relax and Rejuvenate!”

    Although the hotel is large the Royal Level areas allows you to get an "away from it all" feeling. The rooms are very clean and well maintained, there are signs of wear but also signs that these are being addressed.The buffet food on this level is exceptional with a really wide variety on offer at each meal time. The 3 pools in this area again are perfect, Jacuzzi, sea water and chlorinated. I would like to have seen the sun beds wiped over daily in this area, but they were acceptable. The offer of some exercise by the current animator Kate was excellent and she ensured she catered to the requirements of the guests. We took part in Pilates,Yoga, Aqua fit and Nordic walking (up the mountain behind the hotel) where there were fantastic views. This may seem a lot but actually kept us from being complete couch potatoes for the time we were there as well as the opportunity to meet some lovely people from around the world (our experience was with Italians, Germans, Austrians as well as other English and of course the wonderful Polish Animator Kate). We also visited the SPAU and wellness area where we had excellent massages and enjoyed the various experiences in the centre. We had taken our gym kit but didn't use it, we checked it out and if we had not been so lazy would have enjoyed it. There are 2 other areas offering food, the main buffet, where we found the food to be very good, but we preferred the environs on the Royal Level. The other restaurant offered a la carte, our experience here was not so good, no fault of the staff who were excellent but we found the food lacking something - we went on Indian night which was definitely lacking in any Indian flavour in fact my starter had spring rolls which are Chinese if Im not mistaken. My husband highly recommends the prawn starter dish though!
