Description
We start at Mestni trg (Town Square), a beautiful Baroque setting. Admire the Town Hall (Rotovž) and the famous Robba's Fountain.
Next, we cross the Tromostovje (Triple Bridge). This is Plečnik’s heart of Ljubljana—a brilliant transformation of a river obstacle into a central vibrant space.
Immediately after, we reach Prešeren Square, where architecture meets supreme poetry. The statue of poet France Prešeren stands proudly amidst Art Nouveau palaces and the Franciscan Church.
We then tour the Central Market. More than shopping, it’s an experience—savour Slovenian tastes and aromas under Plečnik’s arcades.
Next is the essential visit to the Zmajski most (Dragon Bridge). More than just a symbol, it's a key early reinforced concrete achievement, guarded by four powerful sculptures.
