With this option, from the Gibraltar coach parking area, we will split into small groups and board minibuses to begin the visit. You will enjoy a 1 hour and 30-minute panoramic tour around the Rock of Gibraltar. During the journey, we will pass through tunnels and along small cliffs overlooking the sea, heading towards the southernmost point of Europe. There, we will make a 15-minute stop at the Europa Point viewpoints, where you can admire the Strait of Gibraltar and see both Africa and Europe.
We will then continue ascending the Rock to visit the impressive St. Michael’s Cave. According to legend, these caves were once believed to be the Gates of Hell—an entrance to the underworld. To conclude the tour, we will head to the area where the famous monkeys live. This endemic species, the Barbary macaque, lives freely within the Gibraltar Nature Reserve, also known as the Rock of Calpe.
Visiting the Rock of Gibraltar is like stepping into another country, offering a unique blend of cultures unlike anywhere else in Europe. Once the panoramic tour is finished, you will have free time for lunch—perhaps trying fish and chips at The Bastion Restaurant—or for shopping in Gibraltar’s main commercial area, especially along Main Street. At the time indicated by your guide, we will meet again for the return journey to the original pick-up point.
