What the experience includes
We’ll begin by crossing the Corralejo Dunes Natural Park to explore the imposing volcanoes and lava fields of the ‘malpaís’.
Then we’ll head to the pristine white beaches of El Cotillo and along the majestic cliffs of flanking the beach of Piedra Playa.
We’ll end the excursion by visiting an aloe vera farm.

Stop at: The dunes of Corralejo
As we head north on the FV-1, we’ll be greeted by one of the best-kept natural treasures of Fuerteventura – the Dunes of Corralejo. Spanning over 2,600 hectares, this enormous field of dunes – the largest of the Canarian archipelago – runs along north-eastern coastline of the island in the municipality of La Oliva.
Stop at: Playa de la Concha
Playa de la Concha was awarded the Blue Flag beach certification in 2010-2011. This is one of the most stunning beaches Fuerteventura has to offer: fine, white sands, and calm, wave-free waters, protected by a natural reef, with abundant in fish and other sea creatures.
The western edge of the beach leads to a Los Lagos, a series of picturesque coves and beaches that connect to the village of El Cotillo.
No need to worry about parking, there is a car park right off the beach. There is also a great restaurant where you can take in the oceanic views while you enjoy a succulent meal.
There are also other restaurants right off the main road where you can enjoy anything from hamburgers to fresh fish.
We’ll drive through the village of El Cotilla to get to the beach, following the signs for Los Lagos, Playas, Faro.
