Description
We will pick you up by bus with our guide at the chosen time and place to start the excursion to Gibraltar. During the bus ride you will enjoy the journey along Malaga and the Costa del Sol while our guide will tell you anecdotes and curiosities of this British colony. Once we arrive at La Linea we will cross the border, remember to check your documents to enter Gibraltar. After arriving at the Gibraltar bus park we will change into a minibus to start our sightseeing tour around the Rock, enjoying a panoramic tour of Gibraltar. During the journey we will pass through tunnels and small cliffs over the sea that lead to the southernmost point of Europe, making a stop at the viewpoints of the Point of Europe, you can see the Strait of Gibraltar, from where you can see Africa and Europe. A little further on, we will continue our climb up the rock to access the interior of the impressive Cueva de San Miguel, where legend has it that the caves themselves were believed to be the Gates of Hell, an entrance to the underworld. You will also be able to see the area where the Monkeys live. Gibraltar's endemic animal, the Barbary Macaque which lives in the wild within the Rock of Gibraltar Nature Reserve, also known as the Rock of Calpe or Mount Calpe. A visit to the Rock of Gibraltar is a visit to another country and a unique amalgam of cultures in Europe. Once the panoramic tour is over, you will have free time for lunch, such as tasting the Fish & Ship at The Clipper, or shopping in the commercial area of the Rock, especially Main Street. At the time indicated by our guide we will meet again for the return to the same pick-up point.What should you know before you go?
