Discover historic Ronda, with its breathtaking views of the Puente Nuevo and the El Tajo gorge, and explore the cave houses of Setenil de las Bodegas—two of the most beautiful white villages in Málaga and Cádiz—all in one day. You can choose to join a guided tour in Ronda or explore both villages at your own pace. Book now and experience the best of Andalusia!

Setenil de las Bodegas is famous for its houses built beneath massive rock overhangs. We arrive at around 10:00 a.m., giving you approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to stroll through its streets and admire this remarkable blend of natural beauty and human ingenuity. Walk along Calle Cuevas del Sol and Calle Cuevas de la Sombra, then make your way down Calle Jabonería to Plaza de Andalucía—don’t miss the romantic “Kiss me in this corner” sign. A short but unforgettable destination. After the visit, we will meet up with the guide and head back to the province of Málaga to visit Ronda, located just 17 km from Setenil de las Bodegas. One of the oldest and most historic cities in Spain, we will arrive there at around 12:00 p.m.

If you prefer to explore Ronda at your own pace, no problem at all! You will have 4 hours of free time to discover the city your way. Start at Plaza del Socorro, surrounded by bars and home to the church of the same name. Just a few minutes away, you’ll find the Plaza de Toros of Ronda—the oldest bullring in Spain—and Paseo de Blas Infante, both offering panoramic views of El Tajo. From the Ronda viewpoint, enjoy a unique perspective before reaching the Puente Nuevo, the city’s most iconic landmark.

For a more immersive experience, head down to the Puente Nuevo viewpoint, where you’ll enjoy spectacular views of the gorge, passing by the ancient city walls and the Arab baths—among the best preserved in Europe. Continue your route through Plaza de España and Ronda’s historic quarter, where highlights include Mondragón Palace and the Almocábar Gate, remnants of the city’s Muslim past.

Midway through your visit, it’s the perfect time to take a break and enjoy Ronda’s local cuisine. After lunch, stroll through the San Francisco neighborhood and the Alameda del Tajo, a park with gardens and scenic viewpoints. From there, you can easily return to the bus station via Calle Jerez, completing a circular route that allows you to experience the essence of Ronda in just half a day.
