Christmas lights tour in Vigo from Santiago

Our Pontevedra and Vigo Christmas Lights tour is the perfect way to immerse yourself in the magic of Galicia during the most special time of year. This tour combines charm, comfort, and unforgettable moments.

After meeting at the designated meeting point at the appointed time, we’ll embark on a tour of Pontevedra, a city that has received countless international awards in recent years. We’ll discover why!

We’ll begin with a guided tour of Pontevedra’s old town, strolling through the cobbled streets of the Plaza de la Verdura, Plaza de la Leña, Plaza de la Herrería, and Plaza de la Peregrina. We’ll also stop at the city’s main monuments, such as the Church of Santa María, the Convent of San Francisco, and the Chapel of La Peregrina. Did you know that the latter has a floor plan shaped like a scallop shell?

After the tour of Pontevedra, we’ll travel to Moaña, a seaside town nestled on the Vigo Estuary. There, we’ll board a boat that will take us to Vigo, a crossing during which we’ll see the Cíes Islands and the town of Cangas.

Once ashore, we’ll head to Vigo’s historic center. There, we’ll wander through the streets of a city born from its connection to the port. We’ll walk to Príncipe Street, where you’ll have four hours of free time to stroll and admire Vigo’s Christmas lights. Next, we’ll go to Vigo, famous for its spectacular Christmas decorations. Its millions of LED lights transform the city into a spectacle of color, with its giant tree, luminous tunnels, and decorative figures that amaze everyone. Our guide will take you to the highlights so you can fully experience this vibrant display.

Finally, we’ll meet at the port of Vigo to board the boat back, and then transfer from Moaña to Pontevedra or Santiago de Compostela. Arrival is expected between eight and nine hours later.
