About the Tour
Discover Istanbul’s local life, taste its street food, and feel like a true local on both sides of the Bosphorus. Join us on this unique brunch tour (breakfast and lunch) across two continents. We will visit 9 special spots and sample street food carefully selected by a culinary expert passionate about the city and its delicious cuisine. This tour is more than just a food tour, as your guide will also be happy to share stories about the city and its inhabitants.
Tour Itinerary
-We will meet in Sultanahmet, near the Hagia Sophia. Enjoy a walk through Gülhane Park, which was once part of the outer gardens of Topkapi Palace.
-Next, we will sample different varieties of börek (pastries) filled with cheese, potato, and minced meat, and simit (sesame bread rings), accompanied by tea.
-Take a ferry from Eminönü pier to Kadıköy, enjoying views of the Bosphorus along the way.
-Time for a stroll through Kadıköy Market:
-Take a ferry back from the Asian side to the European side.
-On return, we will taste fish dürüm (wrap), rolled in thin lavash bread with vegetables and spices.
-Enjoy the dessert halka tatlısı, filled with walnuts or pistachios, made with dough, sugar, eggs, and oil.
-End the tour with Turkish black tea or Turkish coffee, accompanied by charcoal-roasted chestnuts.

Tour Ends: Hamidiye Street, Sirkeci.
