Departing from Tangier, this excursion heads into the Rif Mountains to reach Chefchaouen, a town known for its blue-painted streets and relaxed atmosphere.
The drive reveals a gradual change in scenery, from coastal surroundings to mountain landscapes. On arrival, a local guide leads a walk through the medina, where narrow streets, whitewashed façades and blue details shape the identity of the city.
The visit includes key points such as the main square, the 18th-century kasbah and the local market, where traditional crafts are displayed. You will also pass through the Jewish quarter, offering additional insight into Chefchaouen’s cultural background.
After the guided tour, there is time to continue exploring independently, enjoy a break in one of the cafés or wander through the streets at your own pace before the return journey.
On the way back, the mountain scenery accompanies the route, closing the day with a calm and reflective atmosphere.
