Siam Park

Dive in and jump over the waves that rise up to three metres high.

For thrills and spills, daredevils can head to the Tower of Power, where you can plunge down a 28-metre high near-vertical drop which shoots through a shark-filled aquarium.

If you’re looking for more of a leisurely ride, visit the tropical mile-long lazy river that snakes around the park, where you can admire the exotic views of the magical Thai-themed kingdom.

Forestal Park

If you’re looking for a thrilling family-friendly attraction away from the beach, head to Forestal Park, the largest adventure park in the Canary Islands, where the kids will be thoroughly entertained from start to finish.

Featuring over 90 treetop activities, Forestal Park is an incredible venue set in the heart of La Esperanza, a Canarian pine forest in the north of Tenerife. Here, you can race across the zip lines, climb the highest tree tops or swing across the rope bridges for your ultimate adrenaline fix.

Surrounded by a mesmerising array of nature, this adventure park is the perfect place for people of all ages and abilities to experience a selection of thrilling escapades in the open air.

Dolphin and whale watching

Why watch captive whales and dolphins performing in pools when you can admire them in their glorious natural habitat?

Monkey Park

Situated in Arona on the southern part of the island, you will come across the only zoo in the Canary Island, Monkey Park, that houses a fantastic collection of monkeys and other fascinating endangered primates.

This unique experience allows you to enter the cages and feed the animals out of the palm of your hands. The kids will love watching the monkeys climb onto people’s heads for a spot of lunch and can even let the smaller monkeys perch on their shoulders.

As well as boasting 20 types of different monkeys and apes, this family-friendly park features the likes of lemurs, iguanas, tortoises, crocodiles and snakes. After discovering the diverse spectacle of wildlife, take a family stroll through the beautiful gardens and relax in the Canary sunshine.

Lago Martiánez

Designed by world-famous and local architect Cesár Manrqiue, Lago Martiánez is an enormous and seriously impressive complex of leisure and entertainment. It is currently the main tourist attraction of Puerto de la Cruz, encompassing seven swimming pools for all abilities, with the biggest being the size of a lake. You can also explore a series of lagoons, plunge pools, channels and fountains set amidst the most beautiful sub-tropical surroundings.

Thanks to the blessed climates all year round, this complex is the ideal location to visit at any time of the year, where you can lounge on the sun terraces and admire the beautiful grounds and sculptures designed by Cesár Manrqiue. Sample the delights of the on-site restaurants and bars for refreshments, or if you’re feeling lucky, head to the underground casino that sits beneath the lake.



Explore the island’s beaches

What better place for some active family fun than a day on the beach discovering the island’s turquoise waters and building castles on the soft pristine sands?

In the heart of Costa Adeje sits Playa la Pinta, a delicious family-friendly stretch that boasts the calmest of waters, where the tots can splash around or indulge in the fantastic range of water sports facilities available. Climb onto the bouncy castles bobbing on the surface of the sea, or get involved in the thrill-seeking adventures, from scuba diving to jet skiing to paragliding.

The promenade around La Pinta encompasses plenty of bars, restaurants, shops and leisure establishments where you can enjoy a meal on the seafront or pop into the ice cream shop.

Another gorgeous stretch that the family will adore is Playa de las Teresitas, just outside of Santa Cruz. The kids will fall in love with the crystal blue waters, where they can swim in the shallow lagoon and discover the tropical fish surrounding them.
