1. Dolphin Experience: 15 minute dolphin contact program at the edge of the platform with water at waist level of an average adult. Minimum height requirements: 3 feet  

2. Dolphin Action: 25 minute program that includes contact with dolphins at the edge of the platform, interaction with a dolphin in the center of the platform, and a swim with sharks and manta rays. Minimum height requirements: 3 feet 7 inches  

3. Dolphin Royal: 45 minute program that includes dolphin contact, interaction and swimming with 2 dorsal fin-driven dolphins. Minimum height requirements: 4 feet and it is necessary to know how to swim  Pregnant women are not permitted on any program.

The Occidental Caribe features magnificent gardens with countless tropical plants and flowers distributed throughout the resort. 

It also offers many outdoor spaces for entertainment and areas perfect for relaxation  around the pools and on the beach. 

The resort features 2 large lagoon-style pools and one additional, kids-only pool on the beach, which offers marvelous sea views. All are concentrated within an incomparable location yards away from the fine white sand of Bávaro Beach. Swimming hours: 8:00 am to 7:00 pm.

The Occidental Caribe has a tennis court, which can be lit at night (for a fee) and is open from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm and from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm.

Sports-minded guests can enjoy a wide range of activities, including aerobics, pool volleyball, beach volleyball, basketball, water polo, kayaking, table tennis, and even exercising on a trapeze. There is also a climbing wall for those over 13 (open only from 3:00 to 5:30 pm).

 Sailing and diving lessons are available for lovers of the sea and water activities (charges apply). For first-timers, beginner classes are available for both activities (charges apply). 

There are several golf courses within a short drive from the resort. Punta Blanca and White Sands are 5 and 10 minutes away and Cocotal and Punta Cana Golf are 20 and 30 minutes away, respectively. Not to mention the 18 holes at the magnificent The Lake Golf Course by P.B. Dye, which belongs to the Bávaro Beach Resort.
