“Great Location and Facility for your ESCAPE !”

The all inclusive is well managed, service and entertainment done very well. The "interior" beach area is small. Highly recommend their golf course with signature par 3 "island". Book your "special" dinners well in advance as they tend to restrict access to certain hours. We wanted to eat much later than their suggested 5 or 6pm openings which proved difficult at times (despite being virtually empty seating), I think they want to let staff go home earlier than advertised operating hours. Easy location to walk to town - recommend going via the beach to the Walmart and open market. You'll need to get up early to have a prime lounger (either on the beach or one of the vantage points around the pools) - many sit empty for long periods of time which is somewhat annoying.

    “Spacious and courteous”

Overall a great vacation 30-Dec to 7-Jan. The family friendly party they put together for New Years Eve was fabulous. I just wish there were 2 meat & seafood stations at the buffet. The lineup was a bit long. For the 1st part of the week, the hotel was mostly filled with folks of Mexican background who were vacationing there. It was great to experience and learn about their New Year’s Eve customs & culture, and partying with them! Food and service was above average at the buffet. The Italian restaurant was excellent in my opinion, but friends waited 2hrs for their meal that same day so it may be hit or miss. The Asian wasn’t bad but much below my standard. Toronto has exceptional Japanese restaurants so my standard may be high. The pools & grounds were very well kept. My daughter loved the waterslide! The beach is very small and the sand coarse so sandcastles are quasi impossible. No wave jumping on site either and the public beach which is walking distance is too rough. We are pool people so this didn’t bother us but this should be considered if you are looking at this resort. We had the deluxe junior suite, it was extremely spacious, clean and well kept. I must highlight the size of the rooms, these are amazing. We really felt at home. If I had to mention something negative it’s that waiters didn’t come often pool side and the bar close to the Buddha garden has limited drinks. I wish that bar was in place of the pottery/hair braiding station. We also walked to the Walmart in town. It has a very safe feel to it and everyone’s English is good. Not much to see there culturally, in my opinion, so we did the Colima sightseeing tour. We also did the ATV activity and would recommend both. They recommend wearing bug spray for the ATV, I TOTALLY 2nd that! The view from the top is well worth it. Although I enjoyed the Colima tour, my feedback to Nexus Tours is to shorten the amount of shopping time. It was not necessary to be given that much time as 95% of the bus was ready to go midway thru. It made for a longer trip than necessary. It would be nice to have more focused on the volcano. Worth mentioning is the fact that they never expect tips yet provide great service regardless. You can tell the genuinely enjoy working there. It made for a great experience. My family would go again!

“If this is rated number 1 in Manzanillo, we have no reason to go back”

First off, we booked with iTravel 2000 and part of the online deal included a $100 visa. Ends up we got it 2 weeks later at home. Not a big deal, just know that's the situation. Next, the property advertised free wifi in the lobby. We got linked up 1 time and after that, the front desk advised that they cancelled the free lobby wifi. To have wifi, we had to pay $12 US per day. If we had that $100 visa, maybe, but we opted not to pay for wifi at that price. We feel it's wrong to offer a service and then just cancel it. The room was nice and very clean and large, overlooking the property from the 3rd floor. The first morning we went for our 9am orientation and returned to a clean room. Unfortunately, we had forgotten to leave any pesos on the pillow. What was left for US on the pillow was a dead housefly on its back. 2 hours later. For the whole rest of our vacation we saw no houseflies at all, so it felt pretty sickening that someone brought a fly for this purpose and since we were only gone 2 hours, this seemed impossibly random. We thereafter left some pesos every morning and got no more dead insects, only extra coffee and beer. Intimidation factor was kind of concerning, I say. This is advertised as a "quiet" resort. However, it is a "family" resort filled with screaming kids. So, keep that in mind when booking. The food was always fresh and plentiful in the buffet, if a little repetitive. If you have ever been out for sushi, you will be disappointed in the Japanese restaurant. First of all, you cannot mess this much with sushi I don't care how creative you are. It was very clear the management of this restaurant have no idea how long to cook fish, how large standard negiri and sashimi portion sizes should be, or how to roll a standard tuna roll with seaweed. The Mexican restaurant was a better food experience but we agree that service was best in the buffet restaurant. The shows were pretty good. The Nutcracker was darn good, and with actual ballet dancing. I have to grant the performers kudos as the shows were polished and clearly pride was taken. We enjoyed each show. The beach area is smaller than it looks in the photos, and towels mysteriously appear reserving chairs by 7am and in one case people didn't show up until 11am. This is against the rules, of course, but is condoned by staff. In all, we've been to awesome resorts and we hoped this was one, considering it is rated number 1 in the area. We won't be back, as we know better now.

Tolles Familienhotel mit 'All inclusive' Leistungen.
