The hotel occupies the historic Canfranc International Station, an exceptional architectural complex that, after an ambitious rehabilitation project, has regained its prominence to become one of the great luxury destinations in the Pyrenees. Its transformation into a 5-star Grand Luxury hotel has given a new life to this historic enclave, which today is presented as a destination in itself, where heritage, nature, design, gastronomy and well-being come together to offer a unique experience to its guests.
Much of the hotel's character lies in the architecture of the building itself. Designed by the architect Fernando Ramírez Dampierre and inspired by the great French stations of the nineteenth century, the station stands out for its slate roofs, attics, pinnacles, art deco elements and a large central dome.

The town of Canfranc is part of the Aragonese Camino de Santiago and its origins date back to the eleventh century, when scarcity led its inhabitants to dedicate themselves to trade and welcome pilgrims. The town is home to places of great interest, such as the Church of the Assumption, the ruins of the Church of the Trinity or the Church of Our Lady of the Pilar. Canfranc-Pueblo still preserves the essence of the old road town that it was, allowing you to discover interesting vestiges of a heritage marked by the fires of 1617 and 1944.
The experience continues on the route of the bunkers, built to defend the population against possible invasions from France that never took place. These military constructions, built between 1944 and 1959, extend throughout the Pyrenees and are part of the largest fortification project developed in Spain after the Civil War.
