    “One night only”

    Having booked a sister hotel, they moved us to this one for one night. Despite an upgrade to a junior suite, overall we were unhappy with the hotel. Staff were friendly and approachable but room was pretty basic, bed not very comfortable and due to the hotel’s location at an intersection of a very busy road, even on the fifth floor we were subject to a lot of road noise, including sirens and screeching of tyres all through the night. It was also not so convenient for central Prague by foot, although only a short walk to a Metro stop and ten minutes walk to a decent shopping centre with full range of shops and regular food court, - KFC, McDonalds etc. I wasn’t very impressed with the hotel breakfast - the hot selection didn’t look or smell appetising and there were no pastries either.

    “Hotel is good, clean and reasonably priced”

    The Occidental Praha Hotel is modern, clean and reasonably priced, at a good location. Great breakfast with good selection and lots of food options. Bed was comfortable with tea and coffee facilities. A great choice for a short stay or a business trip in Prague. Very helpful staff. It is located close to a metro station. Nice Lounge, with occasional live bands. Clean, modern hotel in a good location with comfy bed and free WiFi. A good value for the money.

    “First ever trip (business) to prague, disappointed with the hotel.”

    I was traveling for business and had an executive booking and even on special request was given a suffocating room with no option to open windows and the air conditioning was not working given the reason for that the system it mated to heat which is not a reason to give in hotel business. The breakfast menu was exactly the same for the 7 days I stayed.

    “As advertised...”

    Friendly staff, good location as it is only 10 min walk from metro station. Highly recommend to get breakfast, the variety and quality is really good. Good fine dining restaurants not too far away from the hotel. They have shuttle service but they charge separately for it. (If you do Taxi it will charge the same or even cheaper.) They have currency exchange ATM in the hotel itself. Overall a good experience.

    “Good hotel”

    Hotel is good, clean and I like to come back during my next business trip. Breakfast is with good selection of various food. Service is fine (exception was one younger waitress not very satisfied with her job).
