    “Our favorite resort in Punta Cana.”

    My family and I went to Occidental from 5/12/17 to 5/18/17, to see by ourselves the big improvement the hotel made for all the customers like us. We stayed at the building 26, room 26318. Amazing view to the ocean. Brand new bed, flat screen tv ,furniture, nice hot tub on balcony. Anyway great room. We upgraded to First Club with premium drinks for some extra money but is worth it. Food was great at all restaurants, steak house the best. We like to thanks the guys on the beach bar Wilton and Wilma for great service to us. also William at lobby bar best bartender at the resort. To my friend and brother Gabino Santana ( bar manager) me and my family like to thank you for all the attention and service with us. To Joquelis and Stephanie at Royal restaurant thank you for excellent friendship wit me and my wife Nelly. This is our 4th vacation at Occidental Punta Cana and we like to visit the resort any time we can to see our second family in Dominican Republic. You all know we love you guys. Thanks again.

    “Very Good!”

    Nice stay ! Amazing show on the theater on the Tuesday and Wednesday! Cocktails were very good. Beach and all the sites were very clean. We really like our stay and recommend the hotel for sure ! May be come back again in the future !

    “Occidental Grand Punta Cana”

    We stayed for 11 days and overall it was wonderful. A special thanks to Diana & her Royal Level staff & Aris and her First Club staff. They always go above & beyond to ensure everyone has an awesome time. Royal Level restaurant needs some managing. all the servers work extremely hard but have no leader. Waiting 15 minutes for a glass of water or a cold cup of coffee is unacceptable. Some members chose to eat at the Main Buffet and the Beach Buffet rather then the Royal Level Restaurant due to the poor/slow service. The rooms have been renovated beautifully but all the windows leak so when it rains the rooms flood from the windows. Security Guard Juan made everyone feel safe. He was always aware of what was going on. And lastly all of the First Club & Royal Level Beach Bar staff were awesome and outstanding as always!!!!

    “Occidental punta Cana upgraded”

    Most of the rooms have now been upgraded, different improvement. The main pool is upgraded also, looks nice. The only down side was there are no umbrellas on the Beach anymore, but there are palm trees if you can get under one. They have also taken away the beach bar. So now you have to go up to the lunch area. The line to get a drink can be quit long. They need another bar for the regular person. Now the royals and the first club have there own bar on the beach. The royal club also has shade on the beach. They did get new chairs for the pool and the beach, they are very nice. Over all a good place to go and if you pay the extra for royal go royal!

    “2 amazing family vacation weeks at Occidental Punta Cana”

    2 adults and 4 kids 8-14 years old had an amazing time at Occidental Punta Cana. Especially the Activity team with their ongoing energy and friendlyness were amazing. I remember Diva, Chokolate and Jose. But they were ALL very professional and made the stay even better for us and our kids. We joined almost all the activities during our 2 weeks stay and we had a laugh at their Western show. Variety of food was fine and service good. The area Bavaro is just wonderful. The beach is amazing. We will gladly recommend this resort for family and couple vacation.
