    “Lovely place for a holiday”

    We had a really great time here for the wife's 40th birthday, the bedrooms are well equipped and we had an interconnecting family room which was very useful. The food was really nice and the variety was good - always had a good feed ! - just need to address the seating of people. The pool was heated and went in every day - couldn't get the kids out lol :D.. It is on a big hill, so if you aren't good on your legs or have buggies to push expect a bit of a workout - having said this there is a courtesy bus you can use to get to the beach at the bottom of the road. (10min walk) Would we go back ? - Definitely we had an amazing holiday.

    “Nice looking hotel but spoilt by a lack of attention to detail.”

    The hotel has a pleasant feel to it with nice bars and pools. The all inclusive buffet and drinks are ok. Food offerings dont cater well for Vegetarians or Vegans. Our room had quite thin walls and we heard our neighbours conversations, bedroom sports and TV sound. The pool area was nice looking with one heated pool and lots of sun beds but loud Rock Music was played for several hours each day. The evening animation performance was usually good. Health and safety could be better with water left on shiny tiles that were a hazard for older people. The internet service was poor and intermittent everywhere. The TV service in English consisted of BBC world news and Channel 4HD. Other language services in German, French and Polish were available as well as Spainish of course. Beach was quite a walk away but a bus link id provided, the town is really a taxi ride away. Nice to walk on the beach which is flat and wide.

    “Disappointed by the penny pinching hotel regime”

    25 golfers in a party stayed in Feb 17. Overall the hotel could be so much better without too much more effort, but it fails due to an overall feel of saving money over giving great sevice. Our rooms were too far from main hotel buildings, a trek back every time you need to go there. My advice: Kick up stink as soon as you arrive and get moved nearer to the main building! Claim you've got vertigo or impetigo, ANYTHING!! The rooms were clean and serviced daily, and although lacking coffee making facilities as was stated, they were adequate. Some complained of mozzy bites, but not me. My advice: shower regularly, they like the dirty so and sos. The food was plentiful and typical buffet fare, it was ok. The main bar is under staffed, resulting in queues and an "us and them" policy where the Barcelo Plus customers are given precedence and time for their orders while the regular punters stand and wait for an ice cube or two. All inclusive stops at 11pm and the main bar lights automatically go out when it's time for bed (!) My advice: stock up on Baileys and G&T prior to 11 and park yourself outside with your goodies! Staff were courteous, but pressurised, therefore not joyous or helpful. Several problems were encountered during our stay, none of which were handled well by the hotel or reps for that matter. An attitude of "tough luck" prevails on the whole. PS My Advice: If you are a bloke do not try to wear flip flops in the evening to the restaurant, perfectly ok for women and kids though!

    “Great winter sun with family”

    Read mixed reviews before we went in Feb 2017, but I cannot say anything bad about this hotel. Lovely staff, great food/ drinks and very clean. We felt so welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our week here. Plenty of variety in the buffet, very happy.

    “Great value holiday ”

    11 days of fun! The hotel is set a distance from Morro Jable so a car is a must. The pools, food and drinks are excellent. There were different special food events each evening and a breakfast juice bar with freshly squeezed juice. There were a few rude French guests who would sit on any subbed they liked regardless of whether a towel was on it or not. I came out of the pool and found a French family on my mine and my families sunbeds. They were laid on our towels and couldn't understand?? our upset at what they had done. They wouldn't move and the management wouldn't help us. Apart from that we had a great time. The entertainment team were energetic and fun. I would recommend.
