    “Lovely hotel”

This hotel exceeded our expectations. We stayed on a half board basis in an apartment close to the main hotel which was clean and spacious. The surrounds are beautiful and well kept. We will certainly visit again.

    “Stunning Building & Beautiful Setting”

We stayed mid August as a family of four. The staff at Reception were very welcoming and helpful. Our villa with parking was a good size with a separate bedroom and beds in the living area for the children. The pool area was nice, but the pool temperature was freezing. It was 36 degrees outside though. There was a shortage of loungers late afternoon as people returned from trips out. The waiters bringing out fresh fruit was a nice touch. The breakfast buffet had a great choice. The evening meals were fine, although the chef did get carried away with some options! That said, there was always something suitable. The hotel-monastery is stunning as is the surrounding area. You do need a car though. The walled city of Ainsa is worth a visit. There are also some nice walks around the hotel and bikes to hire too.

“Wonderful setting - shame about the rooms”

The hotel has a wonderful setting and looks absolutely delightful as you approach.Once inside the reception and lounge areas are simply stunning. We had booked a deluxe room in the main building based on the pictures from the hotel's website. However, our room looked nothing like the pictures with just one small window overlooking the restaurant and bar area and no separate shower as shown on the hotel's website photos of these rooms. We asked to change and were advised that all deluxe rooms are different - we could understand this but this bordered on misrepresentation. We were given another room which did have large opening windows but there was no separate shower, just a rather tired shower over the bath. The aircon resisted all attempts to turn the fan down - so it was full on blasts of cold air or none. The bathroom was tired with stains around the shower screen and stray hairs in the bath, and the room was very dusty and in need of a good clean. We decided against breakfast at 18 euro each. Overall a lovely building in a wonderful setting just a shame that the rooms don't quite match up.

    “A perfect one day trip”

Despite our short trip to Boltaña we had time to enjoy the hotel. The staff was really kind and the rooms had wonderful views (the beds were awesome!!). When you came here you should visit the SPA, well prepared and ready for you to have a relaxing time. Definitely a place to visit at least one time in you life.
