    “Book somewhere else!!!”

    The good bits first. The grounds, pool area and gym are lovelyThe restaurant is like feeding time in the zoo. Too busy and loud and not enough staff. Food is average at best and you need to fight for a table. Al la carte restaurant can only be used if you are AI plus. Can be used at lunch if you want something from the fridge or from the cold ( meant to be hot) buffet. The staff in general are indifferent. Overall it’s not great. Only five days left to endure!

    I would not use this hotel again, poor management, poor bar staff, animation team were great, hotel is poor in decor and rooms poor maintained, grounds were well kept, good access to the town, town was very nice.

    “A week of rest and relaxation”

    Everything worked, food was great, we relaxed.....enough said! At least 200 words of review should be stated at the start of the review not when someone has spent 10 or 15 minutes completing a survey first. My one line IS my review but with these extra words should make 200!

    “January sunshine. ”

    What a brilliant hotel Occidental Margaritas is. We couldn’t fault the hotel one bit, the staff are very pleasant & helpful. We had the superior room through Jet2, nice updates room with a fridge & bottled water for you. Rooms cleaned daily by the cleaners tia high standard. The safe was 3 euros per day & 12 euro deposit. Towels for the pool were 20 euro deposit 1 euro to change them. Close to everything, bars, supermarket across the road & spar at the end of the road. The food was brilliant, breakfast & dinner on half board, very good selection. The best pool was across from the hotel at the apartments block for self catering, very reasonable bar for drinks & snacks. Balinese beds at the back of the pool area with jacuzzi for 20 euros per day, with fruit, water & a bottle of cava, amazing in the 25c heat everyday. It was both our birthdays while there & we came back to a happy birthday message, bottle of cava & birthday cake, such a nice touch by an exceptional hotel. We would definitely return.

    “Nice hotel”

    Very pleasant hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Clean and comfortable. Food good. Free bus to sea and Maspalomas. A little way from evening nightlife, but taxis plentiful and reasonable. No complaints.
