Explore the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve in a luxurious Land Rover Defender as your professional Conservation Guide introduces you to the fascinating desert ecosystem and spots native wildlife.

After visiting a beautiful migratory bird lake, you'll arrive at the world-renowned Al Maha Desert Resort and Spa for a delicious gourmet breakfast overlooking the beautiful dunes and wildlife. As the experience benefits from air conditioning, you can book throughout the year.

What should you know before you go?

- A portion of your desert safari expenses is donated to local conservation in Dubai.

- Pickup from Dubai hotels is included and will take place in a shared, air-conditioned Land Rover Defender

Breakfast is a sumptuous buffet that includes juice, tea, and coffee. Please let us know about any dietary requirements when booking so we can let Al Maha know.

Not suitable for children as Al Maha does not allow children under the age of ten to enter the station. If you still want to do the conservation trail with a child under ten, we can offer you an alternative.

Bookings must be made at least 48 hours in advance when booking online. For short-term bookings, do not hesitate to contact our reservations team.

Sanitary facilities are available at La Porte and Al Maha.

What to bring?

- Since it can be quite hot in the desert, we suggest that you bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and cool, comfortable clothing. For winter desert safaris, we recommend bringing something warm to wear.
