Description
The Budapest Alternative Tour is an experience for people who want to see a different side of the city – its alternative side. You won't see the usual sights, monuments, and historical landmarks that other tours show you, but rather the more underground aspects that truly define Budapest. Our tours aren't about the past; they're about what's happening now.
The tour covers a wide variety of themes and topics—from Budapest's graffiti and street art culture to current politics, relevant history, and personal stories. It also touches on fashion, design, architecture, and the local community scene. Each tour route is unique, depending on what's happening in the city. Tours include both popular historical sites and lesser-known, off-the-beaten-path locations. You'll visit a mix of arts venues, independent cultural centers, and community spaces.
The tour concludes at a small cultural venue or café, where you'll have the opportunity to ask your guide for recommendations on places to visit during your stay in Budapest.
Together let's take care of the environment and turn the future into a better destination. For a regenerative tourism.
