This excursion through the White Villages of Cádiz and Ronda, in Málaga, is an invitation to discover charming whitewashed towns located on the former border between the medieval kingdoms of Granada and Castile. You will be amazed by their natural surroundings, rich architectural heritage, and delicious cuisine that reflects both past and present. This day trip, suitable for groups of different sizes, can depart from Seville, Córdoba, or Cádiz, with stops along the route in various villages.
Among the towns included in the excursion is El Coronil, where you can visit the Aguzaderas Castle, and Zahara de la Sierra, famous for its labyrinth of streets and where you can visit an olive oil mill to taste its excellent oil. Along the way, you won’t be able to stop looking out the window as the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park, with its unique fir forest, offers stunning scenery. You will also be amazed by towns like Setenil, completely built into the rock of a mountain, and Grazalema, surrounded by spectacular mountains. In Grazalema, there will be a stop to refuel at one of its many restaurants—take the opportunity to try local dishes before continuing to Ronda, the highlight of this White Villages tour in Cádiz and Málaga. Ronda has so much to offer that you might be tempted to return for a longer visit.
