Travel across Fuerteventura from east to west on this full-day guided excursion combining coastline, rural interior landscapes and some of the island’s most representative historical sites.
The route begins towards the Faro de la Entallada, one of the last lighthouses built in the Canary Islands with the intention of being inhabited. Here you will enjoy panoramic views over the Atlantic Ocean and learn about its history during an approximately 15-minute stop.
The itinerary continues inland through traditional agricultural landscapes and villages such as Tuineje and Pájara, before reaching Ajuy on the west coast. You will have around 60 minutes of free time to explore its black sand beach and sea caves shaped by erosion over thousands of years.
The tour then visits Betancuria, the former capital of Fuerteventura, where you will have approximately 40 minutes to walk through its historic centre. The day also includes stops at the La Degollada Viewpoint and the Guise and Ayose Viewpoint, both offering panoramic views over the island’s volcanic landscapes.
During the excursion, there is a stop for the included lunch, as well as a visit to the Corralejo Dunes Natural Park, where you will have approximately 30 minutes to enjoy this unique natural setting.
A comprehensive way to gain an overview of Fuerteventura in a single day, combining nature, history and scenic viewpoints.
