Discover the island’s most untamed side on this hiking route through the Jandía Natural Park, an area of outstanding geological and scenic value where desert landscapes, the Atlantic Ocean and history come together in a single journey. The activity lasts approximately 4 hours and includes transfers from Caleta de Fuste and Jandía.
The excursion begins at the Pecenescal ravine and continues northwest along the historic Camino de los Presos. Over the course of approximately 7 kilometres, you will encounter palaeodunes shaped by erosion over millions of years and areas where terrestrial fossils reveal Fuerteventura’s geological past.
The route reaches one of the island’s most striking landscapes: a vast expanse of white sand dunes with open views over the Atlantic. The hike then heads southwest to explore natural caves and stop at a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the Cofete arch and its extensive unspoilt beaches.
An immersive way to experience one of Fuerteventura’s most spectacular and lesser-known natural areas on foot.
