The excursion begins in the charming village of Lajares, where you will start your hiking trail through a fascinating volcanic landscape. You will walk along the foothills of the Montaña Colorada volcano, with the opportunity to admire its impressive crater up close.
A gentle ascent will lead you to the summit of Calderón Hondo (approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes), where you will be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views over the north coast of Fuerteventura and the neighboring island of Lanzarote.
After descending, the journey continues with a relaxing walk through the small coastal village of Majanicho, offering a glimpse into the island’s traditional lifestyle.
On the return route, you will stop at the stunning Corralejo sand dunes, where you can enjoy a short walk and capture unforgettable photos of this natural wonder. The experience concludes with a visit to the famous Popcorn Beach in Corralejo, renowned for its unique coral-shaped sand and striking scenery.
