Description
Simply magical. Discover a spectacular underground world, the Cuevas del Drach, one of Mallorca's greatest natural heritage. There are four natural beauties called Cueva Negra, Cueva Blanca, Cueva de Luís Salvador and Cueva de los Franceses, enlightened by the “wizard of light”, the Catalan engineer Carles Buïgas. All connected to each other, they reach 25 meters deep, 2.4 kilometres in length and are home to one of the largest underground lakes in the world, el Lago Martel.
You will enjoy a short classical music recital inside, and if you wish you can cross the lake on a 2-minute boat ride and see the geological cave forms closer
There is also a service area with a bar-cafeteria, toilets, gift shop and picnic zone
Before returning to our resorts, we stop for about 20 minutes to visit the Majorca Pearl store factory.
