Description
Visit the top sites in the historic center of Seville: the Cathedral & the Alcázar. Embark on this walking tour accompanied by an expert guide and learn everything about Seville's history. The tour will begin at the Plaza del Triunfo, where the three buildings declared as World Heritage Sites are located: the Seville Cathedral with the Giralda Tower, the Royal Alcázar, and the General Archive of the Indies. Enjoy a guided visit of the Seville's Cathedral, the largest Gothic cathedral and the third-largest church in the world. This Cathedral houses the world’s largest and richest altarpiece. To the left of the Capilla Real is the entrance to La Giralda, the wonderful Moorish minaret, which now functions as the Cathedral’s bell tower. It is well worth the climb to the top to admire the beautiful views of the city. Then, you will visit the Alcázar of Seville, one of the most representative monumental compounds in the city, the country, and in fact, in the Mediterranean region. Understand its importance for the history of Seville and learn about the artistic components that it presents
